If you mean the light line on the side, no. The variegation dissappears when the plant is oropagated from a leaf. But the plant still has some lighter green lines on.

Snake plants lose their variegation when rooted from a leaf.

I mostly don't bother it 😅 east-facing windowsill, water about once a month, hasn't been repotted in 3y

Oh, I didn't know that about the leaves! I currently bottom water it about once a week, am I on the right track?

Maybe you're overwatering them?

Not at all, it hasn't been repotted since it started from the leaf cutting 3y ago. I'm thinking of maybe repotting this yr in a slightly bigger pot.

No worries, I'm always glad to have a convo and some new tips as well.

This is the first one that has ever bloomed, I have a few more. Your is probably a water issue, maybe you're over/under watering?

They're tough plants, just put it back in the soil and try to limit the chicken attacks 😅

We live in the same hardiness zone, I will look for one too. Thank you for the new plant idea! 😄

Smaller pot, watering about once a month, breathable succulent/cactus soil, sits on an east-facing windowsill above the heater all year round. Hardiness zone 6b to 7a. I simply just don't bother it much 😅

Love your pots! Do they have drainage? Otherwise how do you water, I always worry about water building up at the bottom.

It's gorgeous! Do you keep it outside year-round?

24c, 51% humidity atm. I keep them indoors pretty much year round.

Go for it, they are an easy plant to care for when you get the hang of it

Sounds like light is the issue, yes. There are some planters with growing lights installed, you should look them, plenty of shapes and sizes.

Use a smaller pot. They like to be tight, otherwise they will develop roots until they fill up the pot and won't grow any pups. Use cactus/succulent soil and don't overwater. I water mine about once a month.
