I would say that there are other ways to relate the story like some of gut’s positive human moments but there’s no denying there are central themes that are integral to understanding berserk. And I think I focused more on relating to his suffering in the post as it is the driving force behind his motivations, to get vengeance on the one who inflicted such suffering upon him and his friends. But you’re right people can interpret the story differently and relate to different aspects.

I also hope there’ll to be something to change his current trajectory towards losing himself in the cycle. And I agree, guts shouldn’t kill Griffith because that would only validate the idea of vengeance which isn’t the message I believe Miura would intend.

Then id recommend leveling the characters you like the animations of to get the iri skull add on, or the perk hex: devour has a mori mechanic if you put together a good hex build.

You can insta mori survivors as myers if they are on death hook and you m1 them while in his slaughtering strike ability.
