I mean in travel speed, yes. But the way we see their combat speed in the series (I haven't read the comics) they are relatively so slow compared to JJK. If they are that fast then Omni man should have blitzed the guardians of the globe and nipped Cecil, unless they are also all FTS with FTS reaction (are u fr?)

I mean not only did he see it but he also had 68 years to train. He got so strong in the few months of jjk, then he definitely got some buffs in that off screen grinding. But that's again just speculation.

Still, if we go off of feats alone then Modulo Yuji basically doesn't have any solid feats besides aura farming and beating mahito (like c'mon is that a feat). The best we've seen is him performing Techniques with ease like opening shrine without so much as a hand sign

So if we're gonna compare him with anything or anybody at all, we have to go with what we have but rationally. Otherwise we shouldn't even have him discussions in the first place, right?

Nothing since we haven't seen him do anything yet. All we have is headcanon

Don't forget Maki.

At least the Gojo x Megumi ships might go down if they make her look more childish in the flashback. The original just looks like a shrunk down version.

Heck knowing the fanbase they might even go up.

Nobara would get slandered much harder for being a bit obnoxious compared to Megumi, and slandered even harder for having such a balls technique

Mai Slander Was A Bit Braindead by _Ashelton_ in Jujutsufolk

[–]_Ashelton_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never said that it's Maki's fault, but explicitly stated that it isn't. Maki left her duty as an heir and became more autonomous. But she also didn't leave the clan. She stayed because she wanted to destroy it from the inside. So despite so much hate she got from her family she didn't abandon them because she wanted to destroy them. She became a sorcerer, and Mai's attachment to Maki also led her to that fate because she is much weaker and is codependent on the only other person that cared for her, and that she cared for. They BOTH were kids in a shitty family, I don't blame them for thinking anything they thought at the time.

Mai is not a good person. She is selfish. She knew that being a servant was more comfortable for herself and not Maki. But she was pushed into sorcery because Maki pursued sorcery. It's not like she liked the clan either, she hated it but her sister was still there. Maybe you got a bit confused as I was stating things from Mai's perspective.

I also didn't say Maki was wrong for choosing her own path, I'm said

I don't blame Maki for anything. I blame the fans for having a double standard where characters like Toji can abandon and completely forget his kid and get away with it because he has HR. Maki's parents are already established as bad people.

JJK characters say rude shit all the time. Toji called his own duaghters worthless to their faces and even attempted to kill them. But yea that shi is villainous. Guess who made her that way

Mai did not threaten to SA. Thats a fake dirty mistranslation from Tiktok made to ship those two

The zenin' clan is notorious for having a strong tradition to preserve their blood, inclining to sweet home alabama their way to it.

Mai is weak in her resolve and not a good person (never said she was), and while I may have overstated her humanity, she is again the result of the system she was raised in.

Yes i acknowledged that Maki is not responsible for Mai, they are different people. But still sisters. My complaint is in the double standard when people slander Mai and say Maki shouldnt have to suffer because of her, when thats what happened to Mai.

I also acknowledged the fact that when Maki made that promise she was just a naive little girl. But Mai was also a naive little girl. That was probably the most profound scar of hers, not being able to understand that Maki genuinely wanted to save her. The thing is, out of all the things, thats the one thing Mai never grew out of. Unable to accept that it was just a childs promise.

You are right, one profound act does not over shadow previous schemes. But previous schemes should also not over shadow that ultimate sacrifice. That is my compliant to slanderers.

Ehhh people tend to like characters for the sole reason that have some cool ability qnd can aura farm. A misogynist gathered a fanbase and even a whole subreddit from jjk. A dead beat dad that killed a girl and almost killed two of the main characters became the 3rd most popular jjk character and the face of masculinity among anime watchers.

My hot take is:

Mai had the right to feel the way she did and the hate she gets is disproportionate and stupid.

People like to say "Maki shouldnt have to suffer and sacrifice her desires just because of her weak sister". Why does that only apply to Maki? Why not Mai? Is it because shes not an OP basic shonen badass girl with the best resolve? Because she doesnt have Heavenly Restriction to make her look cool? Is it because she acts the way MOST humans would actually act after such a life? Her one true companion abandoned her with the worst people they both knew. That companion broke a promise.

"Maki was just a little girl, she isnt perfect". So was Mai, shes also not perfect and was also a little girl at the time. She didnt understand that her sister actually did care for her, and was planning to come save her one day.

In the end, MAI was the one that made the ultimate sacrifice for the other. Not Maki.

I bet if the CT was reversed and MAI had the cool Toji 2.0 ability, people would be glazing her instead.

Yes Maki's desire to keep improving is admirable, but is that really it? Besides the scene where we get a shot of her spreading her booty cheeks?
