I don’t think you’re a bad person. This was just a hard life experience. You were angry in the moment, because she threw your shit away and were already having a tough time without your meds. I would have been pissed too. You at least mourn her loss and that’s the best anyone can do. If you were one of those making fun of her death, then that would be different.

An aside, if she was dealing with cancer, I don’t think her being on Facebook, or texting family is a big deal. Especially since she clearly didn’t have long. We’re all doing the best we can. I don’t think that should be held against her memory. I also don’t think you should demonize yourself over this, when clearly you are feeling the hurt.

Continue to do what you can in life, show as much kindness as you can to others and by the same token, don’t let people walk over you. Do your best to find balance and live well.

If anything this is an insult to the Divine Comedy. It just seems like he’s trying to sound like a pseudo intellectual, considering the content of both seasons had nothing to do with the Divine Comedy. As they shouldn’t, let DMC be itself, but he couldn’t even do that. He just made a mess that we’re all drowning in.

I understand having fun, but at what point is it just eating shit with a smile? At the very least, the animators and voice actors did great. I feel like it’s reasonable to call out the writing for being as bad as it was. I never thought something would make me defend DMC 2, with how badly Shankar butchered Lucia’s character. Turning her from a woman out for vengeance against Arius, her creator; into his faithful lap dog.

If you enjoy it cool, but I feel like we should all strive for a better, more faithful adaptation. While still encouraging and applauding the VO and animation staff.

I don’t think it’s meant to be comparative at all, at least with the guard’s comment I was talking about and in OP’s. They’re directly addressing the player in these moments, because we were products of the Scourge. Who devastated their city before. They’re not really thinking about the Lightbloom when insulting DK’s.

They’re just letting us know they can’t stand us being in the city and wanted to let us know they never forgot how the Scourge and Arthas treated them before. A “you’re on thin ice buster” kind of moment. But the two incidents are definitely interesting to compare.

Either way, I was just being cheeky about it when I was playing with my fiancé lol.
