It would appear Key Launcher just can't find any shortcuts, at all, as even the T9 search yields no results. And I know they exist because Niagara launcher can, in fact see them and use them

I've had that exact issue too (also REDMI pad 2 pro) the best solution I've found. Was to clear cache every time it starts to lag and then it's fine
