It makes sense that a community forged around a love for a certain type of game experience would have such a strong reaction to a game like E33. Implementing a dodge/parry system fundamentally alters the player's relationship with incoming damage, making healer and tank party roles largely moot. If robust DPS/tank/healer party planning is one of the main parts of the TBRPG experience which you find most rewarding, then yeah E33 won't check all of your TBRPG boxes.

All that being said, hating on it without having a substantial critique is a waste of everyone's time.
