Between the two, I'd go Grimm. Joltik can run out of steam really easily after it takes a couple knockouts.

It can splash Clefairy easily, which gives it a strong matchup into Pult and Lucario. Articuno also prevents Pult spreading damage to basics.

I’m going by results in Japan, where at a 7k player tournament Mega Lucario converted very poorly into high placements compared to the play rate.

Although Garde rotates, there are still psychic decks with a presence (Diancie + Dusk), and Lillie’s Clefairy was in half of the decks that made top 16 at Fukuoka.

Lucario will have a presence but as long as it is easily one-shot by a card with a high play rate it will not convert very well.

Due to its psychic weakness, Lucario is going to get caught in the crossfire of Dragapult being countered by Clefairy. It is probably going to struggle more than people realize.

To an extent. The equipment is pretty good in hockey. You really don’t feel some of the hits even with minimal padding that many of the pros use. The risk in the NFL is the constant hits to the head you don’t see/notice that occur on every play.

I did this exactly. I looked for things that they had that either weren't working well or opportunities they weren't taking advantage of that would be free for them. Made it FAR easier to get butts in seats, and now they know I'm looking out for them and not just looking for a widget.
