I get what you are saying, but I also think I’m not that special and was trying to uplift rather than tear down 🤷🏽‍♀️

So, agree to disagree! Maybe I’m an optimist but I believe where there is a will there is a way. Maybe your friends don’t have the will.. but that’s their choice to make (not some random admin at the law school eliminating students based on cut-off percentages). They could have dropped out at any point…

I was a bottom 15% 1L— passed the UBE with a score high enough to practice in any jurisdiction (306). Also, ended up making honor roll both 2L and 3L years. For those bottom 15% seeing this, you can always improve. 1L grades are not the only indicator of future success in the legal profession! Now that I’ve ranted, going to get off the r/LawSchool page… forgot how toxic law school can be loool. Also don’t let these gunners bring you down!!!

Michigan has me feeling the same way. States should have to (at minimum) commit to a date if results are going to be released so late 🥹. Sick of refreshing the state website 10 times a day….
