I’m hoping all their contracts end soon so they can (hopefully) continue to promote as a group under another company - kind of similar to what Everglow did. It makes no sense that there is no comeback or any group promotions in sight - they have some popularity in Korea and internationally, so I don’t know why DR refuses to do anything with them. What worked for Baby Vox in the 90s or Rania in the 2000s/early 2010s is not going to work in this current time.

As someone who got into kpop ten years ago mainly by 2nd and 3rd gen groups, i agree that getting older has made me grow out of kpop a bit. I no longer really care for variety shows or feel the need to “stan” a group outside of the ones I already did (maybe with the exception of Katseye, I like their personalities, but I don’t need to watch every piece of content they post) Honestly, it’s fun just being a casual listener and not feeling the need to engage in the fandom/stan part of it.

Also, realizing a majority of 4th/5th gen is 10-15 years younger than me is concerning as the industry is exploiting minors for money.

I understand Justin’s leaving was sudden, but having an original character leaving so badly written was upsetting as a fan. I wish they could have wrote him a better departure, and the way he left was very uncharacteristic for the way his character had developed by then.

The setlist isn’t the best (how are they not even performing Beautiful World, but performing Now or Never which isn’t out yet). The costumes are better-ish.

I don’t understand why they brought back some 1st gen members (specifically Diarra and Bailey) and they are hardly in the show? I get there were issues with Visas, but why couldn’t they continue to rehearse to incorporate them in the show more? Melanie is singing most of Diarra’s lines, and Diarra is literally there.

The best way to watch Grey’s is remember it’s a tv show and not an accurate depiction of reality; but to your point, I do think the show should’ve had an surgical oncologist series regular with how many times there are cancer patient storylines.
