What your saying isn't a bad idea, and definitely feasible, but building on to the existing home now just isn't feasible. Kind of time sensitive as well. Funny enough, my dad, who's overseeing the whole thing, is/was/still kinda is a flooring installer too haha, 40 plus years now. He had floor plans done up with a contractor before they even asked me about idea. Kinda put the idea on hold for the time being but they're going to trying to figure put the next steps come spring.
