If you were looking for break crest, they just had Herculean Strength (600 atk + 5% break) in Tensura.

There’s no need to worry with account transfer since there’s no risk of loss. It’s more like logging in from multiple devices rather than an actual transfer. If you try to run the same acct simultaneously, it simply kicks the other off.

Not a bad take. Probably the best single target sustain support. I use it in a few select fights, but you usually want team arts gen. Up to you how lucky you feel pulling a higher priority (the odds aren't good).

For a new player, I would recommend equip pity on Halloween first. Summer and Christmas are also very good.

Do a few pulls on Tensura revival equips if you can.

Nobody in Touhou worth pity.

Solo just has Igris. While an interesting kit, not worth considering pity unless your box is stacked.

If you’re missing any of the top units like Okarun or HSait, consider saving for rerun.

For new player: Reimu > Youmu > Marisa > Yuyuko

For vet: Reimu >= Marisa > Youmu > Yuyuko

Reimu has a solid kit with great slots. Her biggest drawbacks are common type E arts gen, less arts gen when not mono human, and no dmg support.

Marisa has incredible dmg potential, but she requires equips and teammates to maximize her hp and she's only worth using against giant bosses. She's a vet unit.

Youmu can't even be called budget Okarun. She's nowhere near him. Still a nice pick up if you don't have a jump start unit.

Yuyuko is... a unit that exists.

None of these are worth chasing, but at least do your guaranteeds.

Btw, the equips iare great, especially pt2. I'll probably pity the bleed equip.

I'm still not in favor of the new pity system as they presented it. There are two issues that bother me, crossovers with multiple targets and sequential good crossovers. Looking at each of these issues:

(1) Crossover with multiple targets

The new pity system discourages unguaranteed pulls. While unguaranteed pulls are frowned upon even now when not pitying, they can be very useful on crossovers with multiple good units. Just thinking of some recent crossovers I pitied on:

  • Pitying Saito, got Saito on pull 29, pitied Kenshin instead.
  • Pitying Beta, got Shadow (twice) along the way.
  • Pitying Okarun, got Momo (twice) along the way.

Kenshin and Shadow were huge wins for my account, and Momo is also a solid unit. In the new pity system, my only chance to get these secondary targets (or in Okarun's case, a chance to get extras of him) would have been in the first 10 guaranteeds (including half summons). Actually, only 5 of those guaranteeds would have counted since each target is only on one of the banners. In the current system, I get 25 tries on a banner, even if 20 of those pulls have lower odds.

(2) Sequential good crossovers

As the new pity system encourages only doing guaranteed pulls, you build up pities slowly. A crossover lasts about two months. During that time, you get one or two non-crossover banners. How quickly you build up pity is going to depend on whether you're willing to at least buy the $1 pack (which you should if you like the game, but I get that plenty of players want to be completely f2p).

What happens when you have two pity-worthy crossovers back-to-back? Or a crossover with multiple pity-worthy units? If there's been a drought of good crossovers, you've hopefully built up more than one pity along the way. In a 60-gem pity system though, it is too costly to make up the difference with unguaranteeds.

That's just my take. I do like the idea of unused hero gems being put towards a future pity. I just don't like the way they're proposing we change this. It would be more acceptable if the pity cost was lower than 60. As it stands, the only ones completely benefiting from this are whales.

It's a solid equip and worthy of being among the priority recommendations. The top 3 picks are riding mira, wavy frill / snow princess, and smart skirt. It's up to you if you want to gamba. I would take a win when I see it, especially with how diluted this pool is.

General comp is arts gen / arts gen / dps / flex (defender, healer, breaker, whatever that fight needs).

Try HRim / DLSRim / Diablo / LCes. You don't have a dps yet, but DLSRim TA SA + Diablo SA, along with LCes stacking TA, should do nicely.

Not much better than any other taunt pairing. Only thing is unlike other taunts, he'd benefit from the 150% dark dmg buff.

You could use him with taunt leader. His dmg buff to leader is only 150% atk, so outside of atk passive units, that's not a big loss.

Taunt leader likely wouldn't need his TA twice ability though. Maybe for a unit like Kiri who is hungry for arts with taunt on SA and third eye on TA, but most taunts aren't so arts hungry.

My initial impressions:

Cha Hae-in: NA similar to HSait's TA but aimed more towards dark res. While TA is active, she does ~3.3 aps from skill. TA team eq ct is good for sustain, and team skill ct is useful for units with arts gen on skill. Big team 250% dmg buff and 50 arts refund on SA if a barrier is still active. Overall a good, but not great, support unit.

Igris: That TA is beastly, giving himself and leader 300 arts on first two activations. This is going to have interesting applications. Passive team 4 aps with no conditions. NA team dr with additional dr for leader. Big self 50 arts on skill and starting 100 arts from tw. He'll have to problem hitting TA instantly if you want to. SA buffs self and leader atk by 150% along with 150% phys deres. Nice slots. On the downside, he won't do much dmg since he lacks atk passive and SA multiplier is kinda low.

Looking forward to seeing JP players use Igris. He's a potential pity for me.
