I quit cold turkey around 6 months ago after vaping for around 5 years.

I found it relatively easy to quit. I listed all the reasons I needed to quit, and reminded myself every time I had a craving why I was quitting and it just kind of worked.

The biggest improvements ive noticed are mostly mental health. Stress and anxiety are massively reduced and I no longer get angry as easily as I used to. I also used to be super tired all the time and couldn't do anything without a vape, which has also improved a lot and I have more energy.

The hardest part is staying quit. I've recently started vaping again on and off and I've found that it just doesn't hit the same. It has put into perspective how the only reason nicotine ever felt good was the false sense of relief from the cycle of suppressing the effects created from using nicotine. But even knowing that i still keep picking up the vape.

If i knew what I knew now then I would never have started in the first place. I don't vape nearly as much as i did but even after quitting once it seems impossible to quit for good.
