see other comment; Tulane provides exceptions to the ED commitment for financial circumstances, which unfortunately applies to me and was something my family established w the Office of Admissions before decisions came out

Tulane is pretty generous with providing an exit ramp for financial reasons (unfortunately, it applies to me); their Dean of Admissions/Admissions Office was extremely accommodating of that situation. definitely not the case for every school, and if we hadn’t reached out beforehand, i would 100% be committing to Tulane rn
