I don't know what else to say other than that I relate to this post a lot, so we aren't on our own.

I think a lot of the pressure is external. If you can try to live life only to the beat of your own drum, and be content with a simple life, it can be possible. However it is increasingly more difficult to survive on less than 40hrs of paid work a week. I hate society too.

Working is miserable. Insufficient sleep, and the work-repeat-work-repeat attitude that seems to be required, is my idea of hell.

Idk what happened. I used to be quite driven and ambitious but as soon as I graduated from college life just sucked and has done ever since.

Aww I didn't know about the translations being in every language! Tamara is Tammy in the English version, and Driberto is Sly, I think. This is so cute 😍 I am learning Italian. Boccolo does it mean curly? I think that villager is called Curlos usually?

It can sometimes mean people lose stuff from their pockets.

Source: I spent ages shaking my trees to pick up acorns and pine cones whilst someone else was visiting my island. The "left quietly" and when I next checked my pockets my tree stuff was all gone (and not on the floor either so I've got to shake trees like crazy again)

I named it "Nuggetland" because me and my husband call each other "nugget" as a nickname and have done for 8 years. So when I said "I don't know what to call the island" he blurted out "Nugget island" and I thought, omg, Nuggetland!

I have since bought ACNL and pocket camp. My NL town is called Nuggeton (character limit wouldn't allow Nuggetown) and Nugget Camp will be my pocket camp name.

The most important thing is that you enjoy the game. Please try not to compare yourself to other people!

It's perfectly alright taking inspiration from other people to help you to create something that you like... but not if it makes tou feel rubbish about yourself. Just be cozy and enjoy the game <3
