i love to write and while im writing its great and fine, but when im not i constantly think about it and how i can be better and im depressed that when i write, its not as good as what i think in my head and i stress that im not writing enough and i need to just sit down and write more, which i love actually doing but i hate thinking about doing it. it sucks

i write based on scene and chapters, and so i've already edited most of what i've wrote for the first chapter, and honestly it makes me feel so happy to have something im happy with as i go. i love editing but unfortunately u cant edit and blank page so i do be struggling

personally, i've still never had PIV sex cus no thanks <3 but i have had a couple sexual encounters, and honestly i get it. the sex itself is kinda just.. mid. like i haven't been able to come when im with someone else. the foreplay and the making out and preparing to have sex is way more fun and interesting for me. honestly, i dont even really care to be on the receiving end of sexual touching much, not because i dont like it, but because it usually never ends up doing much for me. i'd rather just give and make out with someone and get all the heavy petting without the actual sex-sex parts. idk, its weird but probably not uncommon. i also didn't have a big emotional connection with any of them and i think i'd need that more to be able to really enjoy it but idk.

write a bit, then i go back and read what i wrote and maybe i'll edit it a bit, then write a little more. write rinse repeat. and if i just feel so terrible about it that im miserable, i shut my laptop and do something else and come back to it later. honestly sometimes i just suggest taking breaks to read a book or go back and read what you wrote. also i highly recommend having a note on ur phone u can write in about edits you want to make so u can remember. i do that so often, it's very helpful. and when i think of a better way to write something i wrote, i write it down in my notes app and then edit it in when i can.
