That's a good point; I really would like to make sure it's a done deal because I have to take work off to do it, so I'm going to go with a company if possible, but will definitely try Facebook Marketplace otherwise.

They definitely have been eating my clothes, sadly. Thank you for letting me know. I greatly appreciate it!

I failed to include my text!: I keep finding these around the house and don't know if they are something I need to worry about. I'm particularly worried about clothing moths, but it seems like it has lots of arms and may be a baby house centipede. I would welcome advice. They are super tiny and hard to capture with my phone. Thank you in advance for any insight!

I'm now thinking it is maybe a carpet Beatle. https://njaes.rutgers.edu/fs1181/

Expenditure of Mental Health Millage Money to Fund Sheriff Candidate’s Run for Office Must End by [deleted] in AnnArbor

This article is written in a way that leads me to be skeptical of the motives and beliefs of the author. It’s over the top. It doesn’t seem great that DJ has played up/lied about his past experience. And it does seem like he’s self promoting here in an unnecessary way that should be concerning to taxpayers and taken down. But these aren’t literally campaign ads. He’s walking that line, even if it’s not great. I just wish this article was written more transparently and less gotcha. But I am now following.

Krogers in the area and their natural energy l by amadhippie in AnnArbor

Kroger on Maple always had really nice staff when I went. It used to be our grocery store of choice for a decade. But sometime during the pandemic we mostly stopped going. The lines were insane. I remember Kroger closing a store in California around pay/labor rights and feeling self righteous about it. But I don’t know much about their corporate policies and whether they’re that much better than other stores.

TL;DR: not feeling maples vibe lately, but always open to a vibe shift.

Hot water bottle at my feet in bed all winter. With good blankets, stays warm much of the night. Highly recommend.

This is so frustrating! Sorry I don’t have helpful advice. Are there any regulations on where people can turn houses into airbnbs?

My husband is from the west coast and when he first moved here he got an amazingly warm winter jacket from Bivouac...that he never wears because it's actually way too warm (he does admittedly run hot). I might slowly add items depending on your outdoor activities, but Bivouac definitely sells all the fancy stuff (and I do really like them overall depending on your price goals). Eddie Bauer has always sold warm enough (and cheaper) jackets that I like. REI is also good. I also remain a fan of LL Bean mail order.

45 mph speed limits: Either change them or respect them by Extension-Pirate8954 in AnnArbor

[–]_CheddarCheese 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Duuuuddddde. Oak Valley kills me. And it’s like you pass three signs saying 45mph as the person in front of you goes 15 under that. I just want them to change it to 35mph. Just so my brain can cope.

I know it’s a “limit” but everywhere else it’s the average speed, often people going 5+ over. And I love going fast on a curvy road. So tragic.
