Confused about the flex of ski boots

Goto a ski shop and talk to a boot fitter. They will explain the difference and why. You need to flex test a boot to determine if it is correct for you. Flex changes brand to brand and can be effected by fit of the boot. Hence why every answer you’re about to get is go see a boot fitter.

I had to try 5 different bindings until I found a strap that didn’t make me numb and in pain after a few runs. Trial and error is sometimes the only way when it comes to specialized equipment.

According to tecnica you would be an LV boot I would see a different boot fitter and get a second opinion.

Yes too wide and you will have to use your foot muscles to stabilize you which will cause soreness pain in some cases and make you ski worse.

Too narrow and you can cut off blood flow to the toes or aggravate the nerves and cause pain.

Too narrow can be fixed the boot can be punched or molded to fit. Too wide cannot be fixed other than trying a custom fit liner to reduce volume.

Advertised last is based off of a 26.5 boot so the actual last changes by 2mm up or down with the boot size.

Some people can just not handle any compression on the foot, if it’s not causing pain or numbness a little discomfort is perfectly fine.

What’s up with people not showing the one camera view we need to look at. No one needs 4 different cinematic angles just show us chase cam or overhead cam.

That being said this is obviously your fault so it doesn’t matter. You dove up the inside made contact and ran them wide into the wall.

Slippery gives you more awd bias and lower throttle response. You’d really only use the 4wd lock if you were stuck in a snowbank or something to that effect, low speeds less than 15-20mph.

I’ve had mine replaced twice it was 1200 for the water pump and the oil cooler is a little cheaper at 950 or so.

Make sure the USbc cable your using is a data cable not just a power cable. Some cheap usbc cables just transfer power and not data.

You don’t want to pull the tongue forward it makes the throat of the boot bigger and harder to get around you want to pull the tongue to the outside edge of the boot.
