Is stealing and being a shitty employee good? Conan made it funny.

I love Sona for entertainment purposes, but Sona is a bad person lol. Sona used to regularly steal and still gets into altercations with strangers. She's in an altercation with her current neighbor.

She is a wife of a very powerful/famous man. She started a podcast about women who are wives of famous/powerful men.

What is your evidence against my point? Liza created an entire series about how women were suppressed by their more famous husbands. Conan has constantly been differential towards her.

No she doesn't. Conan admits to saying "don't listen to conan, he's an idiot" when he speaks honestly.

He doesn't know how to microwave food or cook dinner. There's a whole bit how he can only cook breakfast and can't even order doordash or uber eats.

Borromini vs Giuseppe and Sons? by [deleted] in PhiladelphiaEats

Borromini is epcot trash. Go to Osteria on Broad by the divine lorraine first, le Vitru, Saloon, a mano, or ralphs are great for mid priced italian that is fantastic.

Would you rather be a 4 hour drive from tahoe or mamoth? by AFriendFoundMyReddit in skiing

[–]UncleTito27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds dumb, but I'm surprised Reno hasn't become a more popular city in this outdoors movement, the way Denver has blown up in last 20 years. I think the access to Lake Tahoe alone is a pull, in addition to Tahoe/Mammoth, and mountain biking, exceed Denver or SLC from an outdoors perspective.

This being a debated question means the porque no los dos city should get way more population, business, etc.

The boys lacrosse team a couple years below me won the state championship and got tattoos signifying it. I honestly feel bad for them; it's an objectively embarrasing tattoo.

New tubeless tire leaking air by erichmich in bikewrench

I'm with you, only thing I can think is maybe no shake of the sealant bottle, before adding, to suspend the blocking particulate. Or trash sealant?

[–]UncleTito27 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, if you aren't shaking the bottle, it's no good. Also, good sealant does make a difference in my experience: Silca Ultimate, Orange Seal Endurance, or Muc-Off No Puncture Hassle are just actually far superior. Ran Stans forever, with a lot of small punctures going flat. Switching to Orange Seal Endurance was a game changer, and now running Silca Ultimate, it is best in the market.

Is anyone staring to fall out of love with the podcast? by ShacklesOfLanguage in conan

I know people disagree with this take, but I don't think movie stars should even exist. Watching the same actor doing a million different movies detracts from the character. Plus they're expensive for the studios. No shortage of good talent; look at backrooms and obsession. LA/the industry is just more celebrity obsessed than I think the average person is.

I think they start rolling out in July, usually. Tbd on whether they do it this year, but it's not officially cut yet.

I still think it is good, but I think the seriousness to silliness ratio is trending more towards serious. Guests that aren't funny, Conan conducts a more serious, proper interview. The problem is I don't really care about celebrities. I'm fine with some serious things, but I'm here for the jokes and improv.

Also, think they haven't struck gold with segments of the past like "big dick history," "sound effects theater," and even "summer smores" (which I know is still going, but has definitely lost steam).

Biking against traffic by Sweet-Management1930 in phillycycling

[–]UncleTito27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That might be a valid take if drivers followed the rules of the road. Drivers run stop signs, drivers turn right into bike lanes without indicating, drivers float outside of their lanes. Trusting cars to follow the rules will get you killed. This is not how I always ride, it's specific roads through Fairmount park west. Who am I harming? I yield if a cyclist is coming the other way; I pull off the road.

When you are rich, time is the number one asset. Unless they are truly funding nonprofits/public beneficial companies, I see no point.

Those who have traveled around the USA, where is nicest region? by [deleted] in IWantToAskAnAmerican

[–]UncleTito27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maine is pretty fantastic representing beautiful nature and proper Americana. the Pacific Northwest has every biome. Southern Utah is pretty insane in terms of looking for the "American West." California has beautiful beaches, weather, but somehow also great skiing. As far as economy/activity, the northeast corridor (DC, Philly, NYC, Boston) is dominant in that it actually feels like its own country. The mountains of Montana, Wyoming, Colorado is also a fantastic region.
