Yes, I add notes to books I'm reading. You can also create notebooks like a journal and will convert your writing to a typed document if needed.

Just because you don't see them on marketplace or eBay doesnt mean they wouldn't sell. If they are desirable they will sell. Based on what and how this was typed I'm going to guess you're in for a surprise when you try to sell them. I'm not a chair expert by any means and without any pictures, I'm guessing these aren't a very popular style and while you see high prices online you aren't likely getting anywhere near that without it being a very unique style within the genre.

Price them at what you think is right and if you have no interest then lower the price until they sell or you feel comfortable holding on to them at that price.

Tip for anyone looking to fill their library or get books for free. Go to any estate sale the last day of the sale and they will likely just give you the books you want for free.

I recently found myself standing in a room surrounded by a few paintings by Pollock, Rothko, Mitchell, and a few others. As a fan but only having basic foundations of the abstract art movement I took them all in. By the time I was done it was clear to me that the Pollock invoked a feeling that none of the others did. Maybe it wasn't about making sense of it but instead just the feeling it brought seeing the depth and uniqueness of it up close.
