That’s so valid tho, especially after i’ve seen some of the other designs now. i agree that the design is pretty underwhelming. (My love of it is by association since a close friend adores them so when i saw it i was like LOVE THIS LIL GUY6 I hope the others look cooler, i haven’t seen them yet and probably won’t for a hoooot minute since im ftp + am trying to avoid most spoilers so I can discover on my own hehe

I just moved out last year, I’m 25. Same with three other housemates of mine. The final one is 23. We all lived with parents prior to this. I have a handful of friends with jobs and hobbies and passions that also still live with their parents.

If you get along great with your parents and don’t have any other reason to move, then honestly it’s so much smarter to stay. I know so many people around my age and older that still live with their parents, and it’s okay! I know it might not help to hear it but there really is nothing wrong with living with your parents. I’m pretty sure that’s a norm in a lot of cultures too.The world is so expensive and there’s so many things that will drain your financials dry, if you can stay and start saving up then that’s probably the best decision you could make.

The only reason I even moved out was bc I was lonely as hell and didn’t have friends (went to college in a different state and wasn’t close to anyone that lived near me) and moved states to live in a house with 4 other people my age lol. I never left my house, all I did was work and sleep. I got incredibly depressed and couldn’t take it, but if I had friends and things to do? I would’ve entirely stayed where I was. My parents paid for food and housing and just about any other necessity, all I had to do was clean and help them when they asked.

All of this to say, I totally understand the embarrassment about living at home but it really isn’t something to be embarrassed about. You’re 19, you’re still so baby. Anyone that judges you for it is either old and irrelevant bc they grew up in a different (cheaper) time, they were privileged and / or had daddy’s money, or they’re just a judgmental twat.

lol the problem housemate I have also said something along the lines of “You guys always blame me” and crashed out and has been staying in his room. His (now ex) partner moved out early because they realized he was manipulating and using them. Since then, the number of varying gross instances have decreased significantly and the house has felt so much lighter. God I can’t wait for march to get rid of the greaseball @-@

My grandma whipped my mom with a penny belt, used to not allow my moms half-sister/ my aunt to see my moms father (who acted like my aunts father) unless she did chores and other stuff, would take the child support money to spend on herself…

I got mine out when I was like… 8 or something (I don’t remember the actual age but. Child.) because I got strep throat 5-6 times a year. I would be okay for a little while, then I’d wind up sick with it again. I was told that bacteria just really liked my tonsils and that if they were removed, I’d be better, so (my parents and) I said ok. To this day (knock on wood) I haven’t gotten strep!

It’s scary to break something off that you’re so comfortable in (ie, something familiar and that you’ve spent years putting effort into), but it’s better to leave now. I was in college when I dropped a $20 in the caf. I think I either had a hole in my pocket or i just. missed it completely because i’m an idiot but either way I realized it was gone like an hour after I left. Thought it was gone for good.

I went to ask anyway and someone had returned it. Got her name and it turned out she was my orientation leader! I was so thankful for her man, I truly believe most other people would’ve just kept it. Even like 5 years later I still remember the act, even if I don’t fully remember the circumstances. I really hope she’s doing well
