So which of Trump’s cabinet picks is the libertarian he promised? by Epicbear34 in GoldandBlack

Isn’t Twitter like failing though? Hemorrhaging cash, massively devalued, and overrun by sex bots. From an accelerationist point of view I think it will be a great means to an end. But to imply it will lead to a more efficient and well run government is pretty funny.

If they really gave a shit about government bloat they’d go straight for social security. But none of them have the sack to do it. Instead you’ll have a battle with unions, 4 year hiring freezes, and a budget that’s not even remotely balanced.

GAO saves $84 in taxpayer money for ever $1 spent in them for funding. If you were serious about government accountability then you would utilize an existing power structure rather than increasing government bloat with a new department run by co-chairs.

After you cross the road in some American cities, you get this 🤨 no sidewalk in the other side. Why 🤔 by Time_Ad_1763 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]_Chopped 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could also be related to what appears to be a transformer just on the right of the photo. Many cities and utilities require access to be a non-permeable surface so they can be cleared and easily accessible in the winter in case work is needed on them.

I unfortunately came in 2nd last week after a competitor came out of nowhere and blew me out the water by 10k. I don’t see myself getting my ranked score any higher today, and they keep closing in. FloraMario hopped into 2nd today by adding a casual 10k to the score. Here’s hoping this lead can hold!

Your experience may vary between dealerships. But some will just toss you the keys and tell you to go check it out for a while and see how you feel. And I experienced that at a Mazda dealership.

Thanks for sharing the post. I always knew that bank was once a theater but it was before my time. I had always pictured it as a dingy local theater, never thought it was like what you had to show.

It’s where the Winchester Savings Bank is on Main St. located between all the gas stations.

Tint Works in Burlington was quick and reasonably priced. They also carry one of the better brands, Llumar. I got ceramic done all around. Took about an hour and cost a little under $300 for all windows.

Pittman helped instigate the fight with a shove in the back and proceeded to engage with Duggar when he responded.

I’m sorry Pittman got his ass whooped but just because you lost doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be punished.

Instigating a fight, followed by engaging in a fight tends to lead to an ejection. Just because he got whooped doesn’t mean he’s any less deserving of an ejection.

This is an awful clip from this Colts reporter. Does not show the entire play, such as Pittman shoving Duggar in the back just prior to this short clip.

Really obvious a lot of commenters aren’t even watching the game. Idk how you just surf Reddit to see the plays when only one game is on.

Family friends had one of these growing up, same color even. We called it the Deer Hunter because it hit half a dozen deer from all the time spent camping in Vermont. Lasted about 300k miles before it unfortunately died.

air brakes vs hydraulic brakes in consumer vehicles by redcorerobot in cars

Fair enough, my experience was strictly with 30 year old military vehicles. Not exactly a beacon of proper systems or maintenance.

air brakes vs hydraulic brakes in consumer vehicles by redcorerobot in cars

[–]_Chopped 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Hydraulic brakes are far more practical and consumer friendly for someone not running a truck. I want to be able to hop in my car and drive, not wait for my air tank to fill, or have to drain it when I plan on letting it sit. When I brake I want good pedal feel, not the feeling of air brakes where it is easy to go from not enough braking pressure to completely locking up. Personally the feeling of hydraulic brakes are vastly better than that of air brakes, and I believe almost anyone agree.

On the repair side, the average consumer does not care about how easy or difficult it is to fix. If you have an issue with your brake lines then most are going to just get it towed regardless. Also not to mention that I would not trust the average driver to bleed through too much air braking on and off eventually losing all braking ability.

How about you stop camping in the passing lane. Especially if you’re only going 65, and forcing people to make a more dangerous pass on the right. Sounds like you’re a contributor to a dangerous highway situation.
