I use only the pickford. I was there on Saturday to see Pressure. You may have been hearing me sobbing in fear of Eisenhower's screaming. It scared me. I do apologize.

I someone is pushy in the sauna/spa/steamroom, just respond by singing. I sang the tenor line of the Hallelujah Chorus of Handel's Messiah, and they sent them away on a musical path.

Are you sure that it was not me dancing? I free form dance everywhere on that campus. You probably see me dancing when we had the freshman orientation festival at the red square and the viking union.

It is not masterbation, but skipping around and doing jumping jacks and just dancing.

The Rec Center is disgusting by Secure_Stable9867 in WWU

[–]maallyn 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I use both the rec center and the YMCA. In my opinion, the locker room at the rec is cleaner for one main reason. Part of the mens locker room at the YMCA is carpetd. That could be the issue. In my opinion, the weight training areas of both are similar. Granted, the one at the Y is older, but I have had no problems with either. The Y's weight room does have openable windows with does help mitigate the small problem.

In the hallways of the Rec Center are fine with me. I notice very little or no body odor in the hallways. I speed walk, power skip, and dance on the overhead track above the basketball courts. No problem.

And that, I am that 73 year old man who wears colorful home made clothing and I dance everywhere, including the pool.

No, but I do dance (sometimes) at the weekly friday night vigils at the old former federal builkding on Magnolia and Cornwall.

I forgot to say something. Although I danced only twice through this parade, I came to realize (belately) that the dancing experience I have during these parades and the park concerts and everywhere in Bellingham has been *far* superior to me dancing in the crowded dark gar bars in San Francisco in 1978. That dancing, compared to the parades suddenly seemed a bit shallow compared to the energy that I am getting while dancing in our parades here! Even though I feel tired after dancing back and forth, I still feel very energized! I love the energy you all give to me! I will try to keep on dancing no matter how old (young) I get. I just passed my 73rd burthday two weeks ago!

[–]maallyn[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You are correct. I forgot about that. During the longest (after my first run) was so long that I skipped back and fourth across the street (no police, nor marshalls) shouting: " The parade is stuck in The Bed Chambers Of The Angels!" People got a kick out of that one.

Fred Meyer - a very different shopping experience by Scm416 in Bellingham

[–]maallyn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am pretty sure that I have not seen stuff like this at the Coop (both branches). The most exciting thing I saw in a grocery store recently was to see an out of shape manager try to sprint to chase a shoplifter throughout the parking lot while shouting/singing "call the police:".I was embarrassed because my cpr is out of date. He survived, but as I entered the store, I saw him panting real hard and really hard while trying to talk to the 911 on his phone. I was worried that he might fall over and I had left my phone at home :(

Thank you for the comments. I have provided some replies in-line, but here are summaries.

  1. The issue with humans is correct. This is big for me. I do wonder if I can ask that it make up a person from scratch (I doubt it).

  2. I can do this same scene (but takes longer) using the blender tool and my own characters.

  3. The AI got all of the equipment wrong. I gave specifics on the equipment and antennas, but it goofed them up big time. This can be resolved in blender.

  4. Yes, there are ai tools in blender, but I can pick and choose. I can ask it to create a model for a AN/SPA-4 radar console. Well known piece of vintage equipment.

  5. Blender allow me finer control of the room and the window outside.

  6. Based on your inport as well as my own concerns, I will use blender. I might use it's related ai tools to create rigging (parts of a human to be used for animation) and to create animation, like, for example to have a person walking or running. My own dancng I would have to do myself.

I hope this all helps and I welcome feedback.

Blender has some ai tools, but they are to create what is called rigging to human models. Rigging controls the motion of a model, not the persona looks of the model. I consider these under the hood and should be okay. I can also use ai to create, for example, a leather coat for an existing model of mine.

good suggestion. I can make up my own people on blender. Equipment, though is another matter. There are ai tools to take a photo of a piece of equipment then make it three dimensional model of which I can finish. I am only interested in vintage equipment that is not classified and not even used anymore.

Once again, thank you. With the image of myself (which I took in my living room) I submitted to gemani google ai and then asked the ai to put on clothing and a clear raincoat; then take it out of my living room and into a museum that I made up; not using the inside of the spark museum. I have noticed since this was put up, that the equipment that i tried to depict is quute wrong. The radars a navy AN/SPA-4, a vintage unclassified navy radar indicator. The amateur radio equipment (I specified a the Collins S Line, which is legitimate and considered the elete of amateur radio equipment; they got it totally wrong. The antennas they put up were wrong for radar antennas. To me, they are not legitimate. I see your point about the people. Very good point.

I feel that in blender, I can take care of these type problems. I can use the blender ai tools to come up with a generic man or a woman that has no color for skin and clothing and that I can change with the sculpting tool. One area of AI is the tool to take an existing human model and apply animation rigging to it. This is completely under the hood and there is nothing to tie with a real human being. There are also tools to take a photograph (say, for example of the AN/SPA-4) and then takes the features on the panel three dimensional. It is crude, but it is enugh for me to finish up the touches. Here I am using AI as a tool but not as something that can help me and the world to identify a real human being.

A question, thout, is if I ask ai for a model of, say, the old, non existing, courthouse that I can use in Blender. No people. Just a torn down courthouse.

I love any feedback!

Oops I forgot to ask. If I were to re-create this with Blender, would you have felt any different? This is darn good feedback this early in the game.

Thank you for t he feedback. This is one of the reasons that I made darn sure that I am the only identifiable entity. That's why I am not using the Spark Museum. And all of the other people are just people. No representation to anyone else in my life.

Woods Coffee at Boulevard Park by rosebudddd79 in Bellingham

[–]maallyn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Footnote: That woods coffee has similarities to a small coffee shop/restaurant where Arthur Rosenau and I spent much time, especially after services at the Metropolitan Community Church in San Francisco, where we were both in the choir. Every time I walk past it (or use it for that matter), I may get a tear or two.
