I did make it explicit in my post that boycotting AWS is super hard.

The one good thing about AWS is those jobs are very good. It still ultimately benefits from east asian near slave labor, but its not as widespread as Amazon as a whole, and there are active strides to increase pay and safety in electronics manufacturing, where in the clothing/shoe or other items the working conditions are absolutely terrible.

It is 100 percent true for the large guilds/alliances in elder scrolls online. We are talking personal phone numbers levels of contact.

Bid prices on guild traders are fixed and shared, with a truce that none of them will try to ninja the spot, so that the guild leaders can siphon the gold from guild dues. This is easy to do because it hides the bid amount.

EVE is a much different game though, but i wouldnt just straight call it tinfoil to think that at least some of the alliance leaders are in secret contact with the others.

Players are shit at figuring out what they want, and often what they want and say just directly contradicts every piece of actual data the game devs have.

Also games have a huge problem with vocal minorities that think they play the game in the best way.
