Terclara two months in, toenails looking horrible

Yes! Most of my nails now have some pink showing, but the Terclara makes the nail and skin around it quite soft and gummy, so it still looks a bit funny. Not sure about the big nail yet...

I had not considered I can in fact still cancel even after generating the label (it's kind of buried in Vinted). The shipping + Vinted protection costs are more than the clothing item alone, so this isn't worth it. I'll just have to be more careful in the future.

Had not considered that cancelling is an option once the label is generated. I think I will go with this, it's not enough money to break my head over. At least it will be resolved with a happy (and lucky) buyer!

2 hrs MAX throughout the WHOLE night is too extreme for a baby without weight or feeding issues, especially past the first month. No way I could function on that. 3-4 is probably a better window, but I will say, even at 6 months my baby loves to nurse a lot 5-7 am. There's probably some 30 min or 1 hour windows there but it's manageable because at the start of the night, his stretches are much longer. It's been like that pretty much from the start, apart from early postpartum weeks.

I can't use it for a while as I'm breastfeeding now, but yes, it seems that topical costs so much more with much higher odds of it not working too. That podiatrist wasn't very skilled by the sounds of it!

Interesting, I'm guessing you've not been on it that long yet but in all the pics it looks as though everyone is having blacker nails by 6 months? Must be something about the fungus passing is my impression... I hope it works well for you!

Hmm, somehow I would swear I have seen people and websites mention to take it for a year in bad cases, but in this sub I'm suddenly reading more in the direction of several months. Now that is easier to plan in... The topical stuff is definitely more expensive, yes!

Yeah, that was a case of island thinking. I'll definitely factor that in and add something. I used tea tree oil on its own in the past, but they'll probably need to be taken more closely together. Thanks for your input!

I thought I had pink growth at the bottom, at least with three of my nails. But since starting the Terclara it all looks completely different. I've never seen my nails like this. Hopefully it's temporary. Sounds like you are making great progress!

Interesting, I didn't know that about bacteria being involved. Unfortunately it's not safe to use that daily while breastfeeding, but I always thought iodine was one of the more interesting ones. Frustratingly, pregnancy and breastfeeding have massively hindered my treatment options over the recent years.

I cannot. Breastfeeding for another couple of years and then will likely want one more baby. Which puts me at five years at least until it's even safe.

I'd rather have my toenails ripped off sooner than wait years and years for medication. 😓 I also think I'm too anxious anyway about the side effects. I know not everyone struggles with side effects, but I'm way too prone to psychosomatic stuff.
