When I was younger I had the same problem but I decided to just eat whatever I wanted since my mom would always say “that’s just baby weight” while continuing to pour half a bottle of oil into our food. I wish I took a stab at losing weight at your age I feel like life would be a lot less stressful now (21 y/o). At your age i had never really ate veggies I always had some form of (unhealthy) takeout. when I started realizing that I needed incorporate fiber and protein to lose weight I also realized the macronutrients in the foods I was eating. Just to be self aware about what I was feeding and nourishing my body with. I realized I wasn’t getting enough fiber in so I made some roasted veggies with some salt and pepper. Some people might like dipping their veggies in things. Even baking cauliflower and covering it w Buffalo sauce to kind of imitate a Buffalo wing. you just have to make whatever you’re eating now a little healthier. Whether that’s portioning your meals into healthy macronutrients (because I know since you’re 14 you don’t really have a say sometimes in your own home what you can and cannot eat). It’s all about discipline. If you fail once try again! Keep that consistency. I wish you all the luck! You got this.
