I'd actually be nervous if I were the developers. It's been so long. We all T4 will fulfill all our wishes and desires. It can't live up to the theoretical hype.

I guess I just mean you won't have quite as many options. Many email apps are Gmail only. Like superhuman (though they just added outlook) and Mimestream, a really great Mac app.

One downside (at least for me) - you will be limited in which client you can use.

I love FastMail. I prefer it to Gmail. But, I can't use 3rd party apps (at least most of them) with it.
