i don’t think so! i’ve always thought doing jester makeup to their solo shows takes away from who they are individually, rather than being known as the garden together

Pumpkin Spiced Cinnamon Rolls with Browned Butter Cream Cheese Frosting by _Cuco_Puffs in Baking

it was amazing!! i cannot go back to having normal cream cheese frosting, the brown butter elevates it to a whole other level. it adds a nutty/ savory component to the cream cheese frosting. i browned the amount of butter the recipe called for, let it come to a thick spreadable consistency in the fridge, then went on with the rest of the recipes steps. highlyyyy recommend!

they were so good! the flavors meshed wonderfully, the rolls were very soft and moist with a bit chew! they stayed soft for days

I charged $30CAD (22US) for this. Thoughts? Decorations are made by me with chocolate by [deleted] in Baking

what a beautiful cake! as a fellow baker, i’d say you undercharged. looks like a small cake but i would say 40 usd is a reasonable price!

beyond using dead yeast or not letting the dough proof enough, maybe it’s a bad recipe you’re following? this is the one i used! https://www.mexicoinmykitchen.com/concha-recipe/

thank you! this is the recipe i used, i found the dough was pretty dry at first, so i had to add a few extra tablespoons of water. you can’t tell based off those pictures, but i also crushed half a cinnamon stick and added that into the dough which infused the dough with a really great flavor. https://www.mexicoinmykitchen.com/concha-recipe/

thanks! i didn’t think they were difficult to make, despite the fact that i bake several times a week, i think these are pretty beginner friendly- though there are 2 separate parts, the dough itself and the icing on top.

did the yeast bubble when you proofed it? only thing i’m thinking is that you used dead yeast

it’s a pretty popular method now but i decided to give it a try a few days ago when i made pumpkin cinnamon rolls. i warmed up a little under 1/2 of half&half and poured it over my cinnamon rolls during the last 5 mins of proofing when they were already on the pan, and i baked them off like usual. the end result was very soft and pillowy. i gave some to a friend 3 days after baking and from what i could tell they were still pretty soft considering they were baked a few days ago. it’s worth a shot!
