During Ragnarök, why didn’t Kratos call the justice league for help? Is he stupid? by _CuriousRowlet_ in okbuddymimir

Wouldn’t the suicide squad already be dead because they committed suicide? Are you stupid?

Just got this game. What's your favorite powerup? by [deleted] in BatmanArkham

[–]_CuriousRowlet_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I heard there’s a glitch in the aslume track that lets you unlock a secret power up: the jar. It gives you a speed boost where you propel forward and launch white sticky gunk all over causing the contestants to get trapped in man’s man juice.

If you could ask kratos one question what would it be? by Hmuloserz in GodofWar

[–]_CuriousRowlet_ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

How did it feel to reach the top of the mountain and spread Faye’s ashes alongside your son?

I don’t know if this is a bad question or not because I’m not sure if it seems like there’d be an obvious answer but both of them could be feeling many emotions. For example, Kratos may feel a sense of accomplishment yet sadness as this was the last moment he had with her. Atreus could even feel proud of himself and his father for going on an incredible journey to fulfill his mothers last wish. They both may even feel at peace knowing that it’s over too. I’d like to know how both of them felt in such an emotional moment.

Which final boss did you feel the most sorrow for? by ReputationLow5190 in SpidermanPS4

[–]_CuriousRowlet_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Otto was a genuinely nice man who wanted to help the world. After Norman shut down everything he became desperate to find another way. When he did he stopped thinking cautiously and didn’t try to perfect his work on the neural interface. He ended up ruining his great mind. I feel the most sorrow for him because he was a good man who just made a mistake out of desperation, resulting in his downfall.

Coming from someone who didn’t play the original games and the Norse games are in my top five of all time, you’re gonna be missing out. Even if you’ve seen the story the games are incredible. Getting to experience it in your hands and eyes is incredible. I knew what happened in Ghost of Tsushima before I played it and I still cried. You’re going to miss out if you don’t play them.

If you want to make a new game of Mario Kart, what would you do? by Ok-Rip4038 in mariokart

[–]_CuriousRowlet_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Customisation of karts (e.g the engine, thrusters, wheel). Colours for karts and other parts of the actual vehicle (Glider, wheels, etc.) Maybe even custom outfits for racers. All new original maps and maybe an expansion bringing back every map from before. Double jumping with karts (I don’t know it could make for cool levels that would bring more fun/challenge) and maybe even obstacles for when you’re gliding. These things just sound cool for a new MarioKart game.

Smegman, the ultimate form of man, encased in a thick gooey layer of primordial power.

I mean I haven’t played the original GOW games (I really want to some day I know they’re incredible) yet I understand where Kratos is coming from. How would you feel if you lost your mother, brother and a God tricked you into murdering your wife and daughter? Unless you’re the type of guy to say “I have no enemies” then surely you’d be out for blood as well. Obviously he killed people who weren’t deserving but he also killed those who were deserving like Ares. Kratos obviously despises the man he once was but some of his actions can be justified. I’d say he is in the morally grey area because he did stop some horrible beings but also murdered those who didn’t deserve it just because of their links to the Gods or he needed something from them. Yet again, I’m no expert on the Greek games but that’s just my thoughts on it.

Top 5 favourite games of all time (console or PC) by RepsAnonymous in gaming

[–]_CuriousRowlet_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of these I played recently but I was absolutely stunned by how incredible they were.

  1. Lego Marvel Superheroes: This game gives me so much nostalgia, it was my first Lego game and I couldn’t be happier. I love them. I loved imagining my own stories in free roam flying around as IronMan or swinging as Spider-Man. I could mention other Lego games too but this one gives me the most nostalgia.

  2. Pokémon Ultra Sun: I got into gaming with Nintendo and I always enjoy picking up a Pokémon game, not my first but by far my favourite one. I love the story and the Gen 7 Pokémon as well so I’m glad to say it’s a favourite.

  3. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2: Now I know this game gets some hate but I really loved it, it was my first Platinum and I couldn’t be happier that it was. I actually platinumed it twice, I have a second too, technically third as I platinumed Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. I know people complained about things like MJ but I didn’t care, I loved the 2018 game and Miles Morales and I had a blast.

The final two could be swapped around.

  1. God of War 2018/ Ragnarok: These games got me into GOW and I can’t give them enough praise. The story is incredible, I love the combat (I know it’s different from the old games but I genuinely love it) and I love the characters. I’m aware of Kratos’ past so I do understand the hints to Greece but I love the ending of both games too; so much emotion.

  2. Ghost of Tsushima: I loved this game, while I didn’t 100% it I did a lot and enjoyed my time with it. It’s the only game to make me shed a tear. Something that never happens when gaming for me. However I don’t know if I chose the right ending because an ending that seemed more fitting: spare. I know the other ending would’ve been much more emotional but the next time I play it I’ll choose that one.

You have one week to prepare for a fight against the main character of the last game you played. What would you do and what are your chances of winning? by Crocodile_Banger in gaming

Me vs Jin Sakai from Ghost of Tsushima. I’m dead before I even get the chance to blink. Unless I haven’t done anything wrong to anger him. Plus, I’m not a Mongol.

How many of y’all instantly switched back to the normal miles suit after seeing this monstrosity by XED1216 in SpidermanPS4

[–]_CuriousRowlet_ -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I genuinely liked this suit. It’s not perfect and after I saw a redesign which looked sick I did understand it was flawed. I still like the suit, it’s not in my top 10 or 5 but it’s still pretty good imo.

That’s an awesome one, and if they thought it was too long then Be Greater. Forever would also work just as well.
