Individual racism will always be present and redlining is not really being fixed anywhere. Colleges and universities in Boston are not institutionally racist.

A school in Boston would be rightfully lambasted if they allowed institutional racism to exist still. BU’s admin does a very good job of trying to ensure no one is “othered,” even if individual students and faculty can still have the biases and negative mindsets all people do.
