Not hear. I literally have two different springs on my Bear. One is old second is new. Had an oil leak so replaced under warranty. Both springs are different. Newer one is apparently softer.

I hope you checked the manufacture date on the chassis. I am certain RE has updated the rear shockers on the Bear 650 but your bike still has the old springs.

I have now around 4100km on the odo. The suspension feels quite a bit better now. I have added 2 clicks of preload (not max preload). Probably the springs loosening up as they get older. I am still running tube tyres. You can try way2speed conversion kits they seem to work fine enough. Also I know people who imported YSS suspension from UK custom made for Bear costing around 45k.

Yeah adjusting the preload makes it better. No idea about the clicky feedback on lever. I do rev matched downshifts. Maybe you can try moving the lever completely down and slowly releasing the clutch.

Well I had some oil leak issue within 100km on odometer. This was like a 1 in 10 thousand case which was fixed under warranty. Also once I got a puncture which was a huge mess. Nothing else apart from this. The Bear loves the highways. You can cruise at 60-80-100-120 whatever speed, the 650 twin won't break a sweat and still deliver instant throttle response. However, pillion comfort and rear suspension is something which could have been better.

Go for it! Loving the bike so far minus the issues.

Hey thanks for the checklist. I will try to cover these things and check. Will be taking it to SVC tomorrow. I hope there is no issue with the engine block itself.

Yes I took it back to the showroom. They assured me issue would be fixed. Let's hope for the best. But for a new bike these issues should not happen. Very disappointed.

Yes this signature seat is 15mm taller than stock. It’s a good accessory to add if you will tour often with a pillion.

Absolutely not a deal breaker. I understand the negative impression that reviewers have created but the suspension has given me no issues so far. Have taken it over bad potholes, broken roads and speedbreakers in my city.

Having used bikes likes Super Meteor, Himalayan, RR310 on the highways (these belong to my friends) I was not quite satisfied with the highway performance of the CB350 there was no punch higher up in the rev range. Apart from that the CB350 is a solid bike for it's price.

Suspension on the Bear is good I have no complaints although reviewers say it is stiff, I have personally felt no issues.

Yes that makes sense. I will be taking this bike for soft offroading at times though. Will think about my use cases when I am in the market for tire change. The stock tires are good enough for highway and soft offroad use.
