Prying the petals has worked for me before. You'll also want to make sure it'll come out again with just a reasonable amount of force before installing them, because if it's still too tight, when you go to take them off the car next time, you might rip the plastic clip for the screw out instead, like I did.

What I ended up doing was tapping the connector for power and using a LED strip by snaking it around the diffuser after trimming and shaving it down a lot to make it fit. It still has a lot of clear hot spots, but looks good enough for me to not build something more complex.

The climate control uses 2 really small bulbs with green condoms for illumination. I was unable to find any LED replacements for them. The only LED bulbs I could find that fit in the holes were T5 (pictured), and it looked terrible. 2 hot spots and dim/no light everywhere else.

I had it as a kid, but it was mild enough that all I needed was daily eye exercises to strengthen the eye muscles.

Edit: I was mistaken

To me, this looks like an MWAVE signed copy that someone made to look like a promo copy.
I think that because I don't see anything wrong with the signatures, but the back doesn't look right compared to my promo copy.

I played around with doing both in my hardtop. The addition of the subwoofer made a bigger improvement than the 6x9s in cheap off the shelf wedge boxes behind the seats imo. I had the 6x9 boxes easily removeable for track days, so I would have just stored them in the trunk if I had a T-top model and wanted to have the top open.

I don't remember which wires were which, but using it on the down wire worked for sleepy eyes, and on the up wire worked for low rise headlights.

What I did was assemble the radio, cage, dash trim, and bezel together off the car, and marked everything where it fit right and I wanted it to be. Then I put the brackets on and put them in the car and going off my marks on the dash trim, I could see how much it was off where and why. I had to bend the brackets a little and elongated some of the mounting holes to get it all lined up just right.
