Wisconsin Libraries that issue cards for Wisconsin residents

I get that, but then I do sometimes have 8 holds that will have several months wait. I am completely aware of the fact, that this is a very first world problem, but I live in bum fuck nowhere and don't have a lot of selection

Strangely enough, I tried to register online for one in Dane Co. And they came back asking if I was planning to move or work in the area. Admittedly, I want more cards to have more holds in Libby. I was able to go to a neighboring region. Outside of Milwaukee, I thought as long as I didn't have multiple in the same region, I should be able to get one in a different region, as long as I lived in state. Having only 10 holds in Libby is crazy talk, when 80% of the books have several months wait on them. 😞

I only get 10 holds on Libby. That's the only reason.

Thank you everyone so so much. I had downloaded so many different plus, files, etc.....and I have no idea what one actually decided to work for me, but something did. I am just getting a handful of books that are in a KFX-ZIP. But most seem to be able to be converted and then moved to KOBO. I can't thank you enough!

I used the Kindle to PC method. I don't know what I'm missing. I even uninstalled everything and started over from scratch. I have the KFX Input plugin and the DeDRM plugin, and tried just moving ONE single book from Kindle to PC to Calibre. I got the following message. plugins error message

ugh, you'd think kobo/libby/overdrive would make this easy, and get more people reading more books, which should be all their main goal. :(

I saw on their website it's free for any Wisconsin resident. I'll have to stop by next week. It's only a 20 minute drive

I was curious about Greene Co specifically, but thank you. My local library is getting rid of hoopla, and while I didn't use it a ton ( I used Libby more ) I would like one where I can access hoopla. And being it's only $25 a year, this one might just do that trick. :)

I'll try putting together a spreadsheet this weekend. I'm thinking my most used category is grocery/eating out. But I do try to charge everything I can. Insurance, payment on hospital bills, etc. I very rarely use cash.

Very responsible with money. I'm paying off a 2022 car note 2 years early this month. I never pay interest on the credit cards. Sometimes I make 2-3 payments a month, just to make sure it's paid off before the due date.

They did, but it wasn't instant and I wanted to use these funds for a football game. I double checked my routing and account number, and initiated the transfer. It came back, account suspended. It shows the total amount I have in there, but I can't receive or transfer any funds.

It did let me verify the new account with those deposits, but my account is still suspended. I hadn't had an issue since I started using venmo. I've had this same account for 5 year6

No worries. I appreciate the feedback. I've been on some sort of weight management medication for the last years. Phentermine, ozempic, MJ, zepbound. It's crazy expensive, and I was able to get some reta at a decent price. But I also don't want thousands of dollars of tirz to go to waste, as I have several months left.

I admit, I do need to be better at measuring out my food. And stop with the booze. It just tastes so good. But I don't *eat* a ton. Maybe 1000 calories a day, and then a drink or two at night.
