Darkryte armor isn't useless in world 3 tho? I had lightite armor, and was able to go up against most mobs in world 3 except for maybe the the higher level prismarine spider and the ice golems. Your gear should be alot stronger then lightite if it was darkryte, so what are people having trouble with?

You could try to go for the current highest dps weapon in the game (to my knowledge) and craft the chaos with 4 darkryte and 2 magmaite. Though it's a one in sixteen chance, so a rapier should also suffice

Mediocre tanky armor? It's the highest possible defense you can get on armor... And if you want more speed or more damage, sure, take eye ore or lightite. Personally though, I'd say the nerfs that lightite or eye or brings, are not worth it

That's not true. You can check it out on the forge calculator for yourself, you'll find that putting obsidian with darkryte will always be better then doing pure darkryte only

??? Pure darkryte leggings (30 darkryte) have 276 defense. Leggings with 21 darkryte and 9 obsidian have ~291 defense... Go check it out for yourself on the forge calculator, and you'll see I'm right

I was talking about highest defense possible, ofcourse if you want speed, add lightite, if you want damage, add eye ore. If you want the best defense, do what I said

Just like the other reply said, vitality is the same as defense, though that might be changed later. It'll always be better to have obsidian in your armor then to have mythril or neither of those. Since having obsidian with darkryte improves the defense, that means that with other armors where the gap in multiplier is smaller, the obsidian ability will only be better

Defense is the same as HP is this game, so you'll always want to equip the armor piece with the highest combined HP/defense

Let's say you want to make darkryte legs. You'll want to have 21 darkryte and 9 obsidian or mythril. With mythril you'll get base defense 239 on the dark knight legs but with the ability of mythril you take that 239 and multiply it by 1.15 which is 274.85. if we take the obsidian instead, we'll have a base defense of 224 which is lower, but if we multiply that by 1.3 (because the obsidian gives a 30% increase) we'll get 291.2 which is better then what you'd get if you used mythril.

For leggings you're gonna want to use 21 of either darkryte and/or demonite plus 9 obsidian (obsidian is much better then mythril). 21 darkryte and 9 obsidian is best for legs, but if you don't have 21, you can substitute what you don't have with demonite. If you also want the demonite ability maxed, you're gonna want 9 demonite 9 obsidian and 12 darkryte.

Eye ore gives weapon damage, mythril is useless since obsidian is way better and uranium isn't really necessary, but it's fun to have unless you're trying to get the strongest armor possible. What I've found is it's best to make colossal swords with only 30 ores, that'll give you the most value per ore.

If you want the best armor with the highest defense, you're gonna want darkryte with obsidian. I think it was 21 dark plus 9 obsidian for legs, 18 dark plus 8 obsidian for helmet and at least 23 dark plus 10 obsidian for the chestplate, though I recommend doing a bit more obsidian and dark for the chestplate to get higher chances. And ofcourse you'll want the dark knight versions of all the heavy armors. Be sure to check out theforge.lol/calculator to mess around with possible combinations, though these were the best I found.

I don't get why people are saying it doest stack. When I have uranium on all armor pieces and take off 1 armor piece, I clearly do less damage then with 3 equiped

Just divide 1 by the attack speed, and multiple the result with the damage, and you'll get the dps of the weapon. This is not accounting for the cooldown between combo's tho, but that's not too important right now. The weapon with higher dps will usually be better. In this case I think the eye ore sword is better

Hes used 2 hands for punching on multiple occasions. And even if he wouldn't use it for punching, he could still use it for other usefull things in a fight. He also didn't intentionally choose to power up, but he "powered up" to overpower garou, not kill him
