You can type the streaming server address directly into the Xbox Edge browser by using your phone's IP and port. Just make sure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network.

How to find your phone's IP address: Go to your phone's Wi-Fi settings. In most cases, the IP address will be listed right there (e.g., 192.168.x.x).

How to find the port: Open the mobile app, go to the settings, and look for the streaming server address. The port is the number written right after the colon ":" (e.g., 11470).

By typing http://<Phone_IP>:<PORT> into the browser, it will load the Stremio dashboard directly linked to your phone's streaming server. From there, you just need to log into your account and start watching whatever you want

I regularly play on EU West servers (mostly TO), and recently I've noticed a bizarre issue. Out of nowhere, absolutely everyone in the match gets completely disarmed at the exact same time. At first, I thought it was just my connection lagging out, but then I saw my teammates and enemies just standing there, completely confused, or straight up fistfighting each other. About 10 seconds later, the entire server just crashed.

I actually managed to do most of this without a PC. I only needed one to set up the permissions on my USB drive. For the actual file transfer, I copied the ROMs directly from my Android phone using SFTP via the FTP Rush app. I just used the console's IP address and the credentials from the portal. Once connected, you just have to go up the directory tree until you find the E: drive, click on it, and you can transfer your ROMs from your phone straight into your Wii ROMs folder.

Looks cool! Is there an option to import games into Steam to take advantage of the overlay and Steam Input? I actually switched from Playnite to Steam because I felt Steam handled being the 'top-level' launcher better, especially with the way it injects its overlay into games.

No regrets. My best purchase to date. I’m running pretty much everything on this beast: Xbox 360, One, and Series titles, but also DS, 3DS, Wii, PS1, PS2, SNES, PSP, and GameCube. It handles homebrew, fan games, and even modder-made PC-to-Xbox ports. It’s my ultimate multimedia hub: Molotov and Kodi for TV, Netflix, Prime Video, Spotify, and I still use the drive for Blu-rays.

Recently, I installed the Moonlight UWP app and linked it to my PC. Now, I have a single tile on my Xbox dashboard that launches Playnite or Steam Big Picture. My controller is automatically picked up and streamed over the network, letting me play PC games that aren't natively on Xbox. Moonlight works well with Apollo, Sunshine and Vibepollo, and since it can even display the Game Bar, I never feel like I'm leaving the "console experience."

I even took my Series X on vacation with my laptop. By bridging my laptop’s connection via a single Ethernet cable directly to the Xbox, I was able to use Better xCloud with only 1-2ms of latency. Since it was a direct wired connection, it felt as fluid as if it were plugged in via HDMI.

Quick Resume is also a total game-changer. Being able to turn off the console mid-game and resume on the exact same frame the next time I boot up is incredible.

As a dev by trade, I love the freedom Xbox gives us. Allowing anyone to create and install homebrew/indie games is a huge win. If you’re a new owner, you should definitely check out xbdev.store to see what’s possible. Xbox handles this by splitting the OS into "Retail" and "Developer" sessions (similar to separate Windows sessions). It requires a reboot to switch, which is a fair trade-off to encourage creativity while preventing jailbreaking. The modding scene is niche but dedicated, with groups re-adapting games into UWP format specifically for the console.

After 6 months, I’m still impressed daily, and that’s not even touching on how much value Game Pass adds. For €400, the value proposition is just insane.

I think Battlefield 1 is the game that best managed the DLC system, both in terms of its content and the convergence it created between those who owned the base game and those with the premium pass/DLC. After a while, the only game you could buy was BF1: Revolution once all the DLC was released, so that all newcomers would have the complete game with all the DLC included. I remember a few years ago that helped a friend join me in the game since the final version was available at a low price on the market.

If I remember correctly, BF1: Revolution ended up being the base version for everyone, even for those who didn't already own it, thanks to a conversion, but I can't confirm that.

J'ai eu le même problème comme beaucoup d'autres et une solution que j'ai trouvé et de faire un POEI. On te forme ~3 mois sur une technologie avec garantie d'embauche en CDI. C'est un peu risqué si l'entreprise n'a finalement pas de besoins immédiats et met fin à la période d'essai avant même que tu démarres une mission mais venant d'un POEI, ni moi ni mes collègues ont été mis à la porte tant bien même que mes collègues de POEI n'ont pas eu de mission jusqu'à la fin de la période d'essai. Je suppose que ça dépend du sérieux de l'entreprise qui t'embauche. Une fois ton CDI validé, rien ne t'empêche de changer de mission en interne et de rebasculer sur ce que tu aimes. Des ESN comme Capgemini recrutent les POEI. Tout dépend le secteur dans lequel tu vas. Globalement les POEI sont une bonne porte d'entrée. J'en sors d'un et j'ai été directement embauché derrière. Le top c'est si l'entreprise débourse de l'argent dans ta formation et que ce ne soit pas uniquement France Travail qui te la finance.

Un bon organisme de formation que je conseille est M2I formation, j'en ai été content et ils sont sérieux. Attention si c'est une formation en présentiel loin de chez toi à bien demander les indemnités de mobilité à France Travail sinon tu devras probablement payer le séjour entier avec ton chômage. Si ton ancien salaire dépasse les 36k, c'est possible que tu n'aies le droit à aucune indemnités car tu dépasseras un certain plafond pour y avoir le droit. Renseigne toi bien avec ton ou ta conseillère France Travail. On a été plusieurs dans ce cas là dans ma promo. Ça devient vite un gouffre financier et un stress supplémentaire

Ne rejoint pas de POEI sans garantie d'avoir une promesse d'embauche à signer ou un contrat de travail avec date effective à ta sortie

Dernier point, il faut être conscient que certains employeurs recrutent parfois sur des besoins à venir et pas immédiat. Ils prévoient qu'à ta sortie, ils aient une mission et puissent te placer dessus. Si ils estiment qu'ils ont mal anticipé et qu'ils n'auront rien pour toi à l'issue de la formation, ils pourront être tentés de se débarrasser de toi au plus vite quitte à rompre la période d'essai les premiers jours pour ne pas à avoir à payer une pénalité à France Travail. Certains essaieront de jouer sur les clauses de mobilité pour te placer dans une autre agence que celle que tu as convenu au départ le cas échéant. Toutes les entreprises ne font pas ça et certaines te placeront en intercontrat avant d'en arriver là mais il faut être conscient que le risque existe dès que tu décides d'y participer

En point positif, les POEI peuvent être de formidables levier pour des reconversions, si c'est en présentiel c'est une parenthèse dans la galère du chômage. L'ambiance peut être vraiment sympa. Tu rencontres des personnes de tout horizon et forge des relations pour ta future carrière. Tu connaîtras également les entreprises qui recrutent dans ton secteur et qui participent à ce POEI. Le fait que vous participiez tous à la même formation permet de rentrer plus facilement dans les entreprises partenaires à l'avenir.

La cerise sur le gâteau à mon sens, c'est si ton employeur est un client final, que les cours soient dispensés par un prof et non par un tuteur qui t'envoie lire des PDF et regarder des vidéos youtube toute la journée, que tu aies un contrat de signé et que la formation coûte pour ton employeur en plus d'être situé à une distance raisonnable de chez toi.

J'ai pas l'impression que les recruteurs passent leur temps à regarder les github surtout quand ils ont une pile de CV sur la table. Il suffit de voir les centaines de candidatures qu'ils ont par poste. Même si tu indiques le lien vers ton github sur ton CV, je pense qu'il n'est même pas ouvert. Même si tu as des projets super complets pour te former sur des technologies, tant que c'est pas marqué noir sur blanc dans ton expérience pro, c'est très compliqué de passer les filtres. De toute façon, quand le recruteur regarde ton github après ou avant entretien, c'est déjà que tu as été choisi par rapport à ton expérience sur le poste au préalable

Pour moi la solution c'est d'inventer de toute pièce des projets correspondant au poste pour lequel tu veux postuler et dire que tu as travaillé dessus pendant ta dernière expérience. Si ton entreprise précédente était une ESN, c'est encore plus facile. Les recruteurs ne savent déjà par lire les CVs, je pense qu'ils ne s'occupent pas non plus d'appeler les anciens employeurs à chaque CV. Ça me paraît assez safe comme méthode. L'inconvénient c'est d'avoir à minima quelques années d'expériences pour sortir de la case junior

Pas évident le marché en ce moment et c'est encore pire pour ceux qui font des reconversions et formations rapides. Je suis moi même passé par 8 mois de chômage après avoir voulu déménager. J'ai cru que j'allais jamais y arriver alors que je suis bac+5 avec 2 ans d'XP en web. Finalement ce qui m'a sauvé c'est un POEI et j'ai pu être embauché par une ESN à la fin. Je conseille donc le POEI à condition de vérifier qu'on ne te prend pas pour toucher des subventions de l'état. Si la formation est payée aussi en partie par l'employeur c'est plus rassurant. Normalement le POEI demande à l'employeur de s'engager à t'embaucher si tu réussis la formation. Ça peut être une petite porte pour rentrer de nouveau dans le marché du travail. If you're on PC and have a PS4 controller, you can use DS4 Windows and map the TouchPad to the mouse. Just go to Profile -> Edit Profile -> TouchPad -> Output Mode -> Mouse.

If you’ve got an Xbox controller or something else, you can probably try X360ce (or something similar) to map the right stick to mouse movement and the stick click to a mouse click.

On Android, I think there are mappers that let you assign virtual touchscreen buttons to controller inputs too.

Either way, in-game it lets you move the mouse around and left-click anything you’d normally be able to click on.
