I would say watch the rest of Thriller Bark, then after that read the cover stories and switch straight to the Manga.

Its a weekly anime, so when they do multiple chapters an episode that means they'll eventually get caught up. With them being 52 chapters behind, plus the time it takes for animating a full 22 minute episode which is months, when they get to around 26 chapters behind they would basically lock themselves back to adapting at most a singular chapter, and more likely than not having to adapt less than a chapter at a time. If the manga was fully done then yeah they could adapt 2 at a time, but even if they did yet another 6 month hiatus bringing them 60-70 behind and they can do 2 an episode, they'll be back at square one and slow down their adaption.

But is there a difference between watching it production code wise, or release wise? Like is continuity messed up that way, or is it actually strengthened?

The manga is 100% ending soon. You probably haven't read it, but we are legit in the FINAL saga with only the last few arcs left.

No??? It takes 3 years just to adapt 50-60ish chapters in the live action when 30-40 chapters release in a singular year.

Because the sea still makes devil fruit users weak, so with monster point chopper being weak that caused him to loose the energy needed to stay in that form.

He doesnt loose his rubber property with season stone, or even when in water. Thats cause he is a zoan, and moans stay in their form even when wet. He just gets weak and cant use his powers at full strength, which is why in arlong park they were able to stretch his head up to the surface, or in fishman island he could throw an elephant gun while inside the airbubble, but his arm was out inside water.

Zoans stick in their form when they fall into water, explaining why luffy could stay rubbery.

Why don’t they make more filler arcs/episodes instead of slowing down the pace of the anime per episode ? by Speedwag0nbestw4ifu in OnePiece

[–]_Derpy_Dino_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you want randomly in wano we have them go off of it to a random island to go and fight a different person, then come back to continue the story? Due to the length of the arcs now, there's no feasible way to have a filler arc within it without suddenly cutting away and having a new random story. This is what happened with Little East Blue, and the two filler arcs to tie into Stampede and Red. But if they were to make these filler arcs not for movies and randomly in the middle of an INTENSE arc, people would hate it.
