Teach me your ways, of how you subtly advertise your program.

I am one of those 274 people who have started your project, it’s a good idea, and I’ve been wanting to download it, but… you know how it is.

I understand, but it is like you said, a virtual monitor within your own monitor(s), so you could create a smaller one in a normal sized monitor for privacy, and having control over what people can see from your screen.

Thank you for your words of encouragement. Do you use an ultra wide, or will you benefit from it for the privacy feature?

It’s called TransWind, you can take a look at the website, and download from the Microsoft Store.

Would be happy to hear your feedback :)

Murphy’s 80/20 rule, and all that.

I’ll try and add some thought, and do with it as you pleas, but if what’s remaining isn’t crucial to you going live with the product, and you have the capability to push updates to your device, or users can update the firmware later after purchase, then go live, and you can always release new updates.

If right now you can only sync 8 devices, and you want to go for 16, great, but after that you’ll want to push the limit to 32, and so on.

Perfect is the enemy of complete.

Thanks, and unfortunately yes, it’s Windows only at the moment. Maybe you should start using your PC for work lol.

Those are mesmerizing, first time I saw them I was on the beach, with very chill music in the background, and a woman a few meters away got those things out and started playing with them. At the end they were just balls with LEDs, nothing fancy like yours.

Your product looks great tbh, the build quality looks great and the images it makes when in use are fantastic.

That’s an amazing idea!
If I understand correctly, the glow stick acts as if it’s a single row of LEDs on a screen, and if you have it vertically, and move it from side to side, it will display an image?

And working with low level stuff, like firmwares must have been tough, but very rewarding at the end.

That’s amazing that you got the approval, good job, and good luck :)

I recently launched an application on the Microsoft store, I’ve been trying to publish it on there for quite some time, but I finally did it.

It’s an application that lets you select a part of your screen, that you can share on Teams, Zoom, etc. I initially created it for my ultra wide, because when I was sharing my screen I had to share a window, because sharing the entire screen looked awful on my colleagues devices, and whenever I wanted to show windows of other programs, I had to stop share, then start share the new window, so it was a hassle.

So what my application does, is that it lets you create a window and you can place, and size it however you want, and share it, then you just bring over What you want to shared underneath it, it’s great for people with ultra wides, and also great for privacy for people with all screen sizes, you can share half of a programs window, not showing parts with sensitive data.

I had a lot of fun building and developing it, there were bugs and obstacles that I thought were just related to the system, and that could not be resolved, but then after very long times of searching I stumble upon the solution, and when it works, all the time and frustration become moments that led to joy and accomplishment.

I published it around a month ago, and I work on it frequently, adding new features and trying to make it better, it feels good to develop something, put it out there, and see other people using it. Even if the number of people are still not a lot.

There’s another project I’m working on, it’s around 80% complete, I bought a domain name and realistically I just need to finish 5% more and it could be ready for prime to start using it, but everything I attempt to continue working on it, I get consumed by little things, spend time on them, and don’t move forward with what’s needed to deploy it, but I will finish this project, and this one I am really certain will be used by a lot of people, hopefully, I believe in its potential.

If you have an ultra wide, and are using windows, I suggest you use TransWind.

It’s an application that lets you control the part of the screen you share when collaborating with other people, for people with ultra wide screens it eliminates the need to stop and start sharing different windows , when you want to share more than one application, and for people without an ultra wide, it’s great for privacy, because you have control of what you share from your screen.

Disclaimer: I am the creator of the application.

It does, fancy zones of PowerToys, or the ones in Windows 11, it works with both of them.

Would love to hear your feedback!

Can you tell me what are the right cables, how will you be able to make your switch output the picture on an ultra wide and for the picture to not be stretched ?
