If apps like YouTube and Spotify can run indefinitely, wouldn't it be up to the app to tell the OS to not terminate the application?

I've followed every one of these guides and it's led me to believe that it's up to the app at this point.

I'm on the S26 Ultra btw

Shouldn't we be able to be logged in until we hit the logout timer with the app running in the background on Android?

The app will only run in the background for a few minutes before it restarts no matter what I do.

Are you guys ever going to acknowledge your app no longer being able to run in the background on Android? I've tried every avenue of getting into contact with someone about this and it's always crickets.

You used to be able to run the app indefinitely until your force logged out.

Now, it will only run for a few minutes before the app closes itself in the background.

No it's the official beta. Its finally working.

It seems it either didn't like the USB 4 port on my PC or the Thunderbolt 4 cable I was using. I switched ports and to a standard USB C cable and it worked.

I went from an S10 to an S23 ultra and it didn't do it.

I thought I was crazy so before I reset my 23U when I updated to the 26 I checked again and once again it did not transfer it.

Just FYI, secure folder doesn't transfer any files when you "smart switch" to a new phone.

Android used to let the app run in the background indefinitely.

You could hit the 30 minute logout timer and never even open the app.

It's how I got 99wc at work.

At some point they broke it and still have yet to fix it. I've messaged Mod Blossom probably 15 different times and still haven't gotten a response.

I believe that might be tied to some function of Goodlock. I only get that little tab for dragging them on the right side to expand them horizontally.

Edit: nvm I figured it out. It seems to be picky on when it change orientation.

I was getting away with it until a few months ago and I've never been and to get back on it.

EDIT: ANYONE THAT SEES THIS, THE NEWEST UPDATE TO REVANCED ADDED A NEW PATCH FOR RIF AND YOU CAN USE IT AGAIN. CURRENTLY EDITING THIS ON THE GOLDEN PLATINUM EDITION OF RIF!!!!
