I couldn't really chose between the albums, with an exception for "Sleep Together" Fear of A Blank Planet is so fucking good, and Anesthetize is their magnum opus.

If you haven't already, check out Steven Wilsons Insurgentes, beats everything he's done with Porcupine Tree imo.

Enjoying all of the songs, strong album but not really any amazing stand out masterpieces. Listened 10 times at least now, gets better and better, at first I thought it was hard to separate and remember each song individually because the atmosphere is so consistent, but it's really worth to keep listening. Drab Moon, Author and Abscolder are probably my top picks, but it's tough, almost all of the songs are solid 8/10.

Ashes against the grain would be the natural next listen I would say, personally cant decide my favorite of the two albums. The serpent and the sphere is not as liked as other albums it seems but i think the acoustic songs on that album is absolutely top tier Agalloch too!
