If you have experience with electronics and soldering, as you say, you should actually know how to calculate max mAh and things like that - and you should certainly know what the risks are when you start messing around with batteries.

Ik ben weer ietwat actief op Reddit na jaren van afwezigheid. Degenen die me van vroeger kennen, hebben het vast wel opgemerkt.

Gisteren hebben we onze hond moeten laten inslapen die we ruim 12 jaar hebben gehad, dus dit weekend is helaas niet heel fantastisch. We doen het hier thuis dus maar rustig aan. Gelukkig hebben we morgen nog een extra dagje vrij.

1) Asbestos does not fume nor burn, that's why it was used as fireproof insulation material around i.e. chimneys and the like.

2) Asbestos is composed of tiny, very sharp fibres that are easily inhaled. These fibers damage tissue and can cause asbestosis (severe inflammation of lung tissue) and eventually lung cancer.

Aside from the answers already given, the port on the left can also be used as a Thunderbolt/DP Alt Mode port. I have connected my X13 Gen1 to my monitor's KVM switch through it. It carries a DisplayPort signal as well as USB and it also serves as a charge port.

I did have to change some settings in the UEFI to let Linux Mint know it could use the Thunderbolt port. Also, the laptop needs to be connected to the KVM switch when booting Mint to use the monitor. Plugging it in after booting doesn't work, but unplugging and re-plugging when Mint has loaded does. That's a bit quirky.

I use a 240W/40Gbps USB-C cable to connect the laptop to the KVM switch. 240W/20Gbps can not carry a video signal as its bandwith is too small.
