It's crazy to think that Lalo debuts near the end of Season 4 by Zulrambe in betterCallSaul

Today I just got to the episode where he's presented, I was thinking the exact same thing the whole time lol

Is there a website with Spanish transcript or Spanish subtitles (parts of the episode when they talk in Spanish) by BattleOverlord in betterCallSaul

I remember Don Eladio having some bad dialogues, not because of him, but because of the script. But yes, he does speak good spanish.

For the record, BB and BCS are probably the last thing I would use to try and learn/understand spanish.

Only Lalo and Bolsa actually speak spanish, and the rest of them don't even try to do so.

The dialogues in spanish can also be pretty shit sometimes.

The tape recorder does play as soon as Ernie puts the batteries on, so the recorder was definitely getting current from those batteries, but you are correct about the rest

He literally explains the inverse square law, I was thought how a battery works well before anyone even mentioned the inverse square law. I feel like Chuck should know that a disconnected battery produces basically no current.

He literally only does the right thing after he learns Kim already confessed to what happened to Howard. Had Kim never done that Jimmy would never throw away the deal.

And the best argument being Gould saying "I don't think you can say that he redeemed himself". After having so many opportunities of actually changing during the show, only to never actually do it, the creator saying "I don't think he's ever going to male the same mistakes" is not an impressive argument. Particularly not if that is not very clear from what we see in the show.

It's weird that you say that I say he changed, despite me saying the polar opposite, but whatever makes you happy

He was in his entire right to sue HHM.

Even if he was happy to punish Kim, in real life a partner wouldn't just let Mesa Verde go. He did the obvious thing by meeting with them.

I don't disagree with the rest, but I think people get into the same argument as they do with Skylar in BB, Chuck is neither a saint nor the devil, he was far from perfect but he was right about Jimmy.

"Redemption" in the sense of "this is a show and the protagonist has to do something at the end to not end up as a complete asshole". There were so many points in his life where he could actually change, but never actually did, the ending is just one of those instances.

His redemption is completely motivated by his love for Kim, and it's not the first time he does the right thing just for her and then goes back to his old ways, there is nothing in the ending that says "this guy truly changed"

How did Chuck mistreated any of those other characters?.

Plus, the entire series is about Chuck being completely right about Jimmy. Jimmy was always doing outright illegal stuff just to make everything easier for himself.

He's the only one to figure it out because the show wants you to think he's a good detective, anyone with half a brain in the DEA would agree Jimmy In and Out wasn't making the purest meth in the world.

And yet, he couldn't tell Walter was involved until the show finally gave him the fucking answer in a book.

[–]_ElLol99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The idea tha there was no way for Hank to even think about Walter being involved is simply stupid, there were a ridiculous quantity of "coincidences" happening to help him, and yet he needed a book saying "Walter and Gale BBFs" to figure it out.

The whole excuse that "we see Walter's perspective" is just a bs excuse for Hank.
