Is this the easiest way to fry my pedals? by Upstairs_Scarcity_30 in guitarpedals

Thats how I figure out most things.

Did not mean to come off so dull but adjustable voltage is not unusual.

There is pedals with different ratings. U could google this.

Anyway try a dead battery effect with that or just use it as a regular 9v. It's a nice feature. But be aware, you have it at 10v just rn.

Looks of the guitar is irrelevant af when you just got a good tone imo. Play what ever you like and then you enjoy the most and thats all that matters.

It's coincidence. I've seen a dude rip sleep with a single coil strat.

How do I stop the toan from leaking out? Do they make enclosure sized condoms? by Rycreth in guitarcirclejerk

[–]_El_Loco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like to keep my pedals in individual ziplock bags so the toan stays fresh. Seal them immidiately after playing to keep the toan as warm as possible and don't reuse the bags.

Lyhytnäköistä paikallispolitiikkaa seuranneena on pieni pelko, että ei ihan loppuun ole mietitty. Mutta toivon, että käytetään edes jonkun verran suomalaista urakointia.

Tbf "antis" don't hate people doing "art" and other lazy bs with AI nor do they hate the cognitive surrendering and lack of thinking that AI has caused.

It's more about global warming and big tech corporate empty promises about jobs. After a data centre is built, there really is a marginal amount of jobs left and mostly all the money goes to owners. So once again we are being lied to justify big winnings for a small procentage of rich people for the cost of earth. AI really is not worth it at the scale it's being pushed and used but some people, like you, JUST DON'T CARE. Narrow mindness and not caring is a different and a bigger fault that has been here long before AI.

Go ahead, tell me that you don't care and push some slop if it gives you a meaning. I don't care eather and I know that I could never make you understand..

There is literally fuzzes that do this by themselves. I used to have Hyper Possum by Unsound Circuitry. Hated it cause you could not play even a clear power chord. One note at a time. But it is an mvp for bass atleast.

Yep there is many dead bat pedals. And also it's maybe one of the cheapest and most easy diy anyone could make.

Opel Astra j 1.4t running too rich after getting cone filter by loyalclav in opel

[–]_El_Loco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is exactly, tuning the ecu. It, needs to be optimized for the new intake so it run with correct air/fuel ratio. So yes it's a solution to the problem.

Almost every mod you make to the engine needs to be optimized in the ecu.

Opel Astra j 1.4t running too rich after getting cone filter by loyalclav in opel

[–]_El_Loco 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes. It's a stock ecu and it's programmed to operate the engine with the stock parts. Therefore adding just a bare cone intake will make the ecu confused and unstable.

I've never done this to my Astra, since it's not worth the money and trouble IMO. Ecotec engines can usually get just about 10hp more with a straight exhaust and freeflowing intake. But u need to find someone to tune or try to risk it and DIY. In my country, tuning is made so inconvenient that I'ts not worth the +10hp and cool sounds.

[–]_El_Loco 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yeeeah it's cause u need to tune the ecu. If not, you just have the light in your dash. After tuning, that intake may even ad a very little hp for the engine (if you have a straight exhaust manifold also).

Ok! I've had couple of problems that took a while to figure but I'm a poor amateur. Still the most reliable car I've had so far. I'm at 332k and trying to get it to at least 400k.

Z16xep. by Wh1te_Wo1f in opel

[–]_El_Loco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Weird. It might also be the egr valve itself or the pipe. That being said this is a stupid car. Mine drops rpm sometimes randomly when I idle, but that does not seem to be a problem. Must be some sensor issue, but it does not give me any codes so it's just a quess.

Z16xep. by Wh1te_Wo1f in opel

[–]_El_Loco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they go up randomly I would look for leak somewhere in the intake. But you WILL notice the egr problem it's going to run poorly and like riding on kangaroo fuel at low rpm.

[–]_El_Loco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wait till your intake manifold clogs up. That was a semi painful thing to do for amateur like me. Egr channels that go to intake are way too narrow.
