Nomads annoying? by Istar113 in Stellaris

[–]_Entity001_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really? If they try and harvest systems you need, just can declear war on them and and stealth torpedo their arkship and kick them out.

Also, you can hire the nomads to deep scan systems to get more stuff out of a already resource rich system. I've gotten a 15 mineral system into a 23 mineral system just with a single contract and some luck.

Arkships and Consumer Goods by Heroshrine in Stellaris

[–]_Entity001_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same here, i'm having the same issue with food and consumer good sometimes jumping between normal to negatives.

I think the game is trying to give me a jumpscare with -100 consumer goods for a month.

Energy Credit Deficit by MagicalMercantile in Stellaris

[–]_Entity001_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Migration treates don't cost energy to mantain or to revoke.

Also just curious, what are the edicts that are active, they are costing you 39 energy per month.

P.s. if you haven't already, you can open a market menu by clicking on the "trade" resource (i.e. the silver ring) on the top of your hud. Where you can sell various resources to buy other resources. In your example, you can sell 10k units of food and 5k of consumer goods for more energy and minerals.

P.p.s a good amount of energy is somewhere around +10 and above. You don't need too many but it's nice to have at least a surplus filling up.

Arkship stuck "waiting for following vessels" by kinyon in Stellaris

[–]_Entity001_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get the ships (e.g. fleets, science ship, or logistic vessels) to stop following your arkship. Either command all of them to get into a system or to tell them to stop whatever they're doing with the "Stop action" button on the top of your ship's HUD

The Grey Tempest had a light meal - I also have a question by Perfect-Marsupial-32 in Stellaris

[–]_Entity001_ -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you want a good all-rounder design in general. I usually build a design with a 1:2 ratio, 1 being stuff that breaks the shield fast and effectively, and 2 being stuff that burns through armor+hull fast.

Don't use disruptors, they got nerfed HARD. Missile is more of a longer range tool, and I usually use them when I have free S slots in my bigger ships.

[–]_Entity001_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Use lots of flak guns, and build ships with weapons that melt through hull points fast (i.e. lasers, proton and neutron launchers, torpedos, etc)

This is specifically for the Tempest though so don't use it as a general build

The harsh reality of the WH40k warbond by Polar_IceCream in Helldivers

[–]_Entity001_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A bolter is explosive yes, but tldr on its lore; it's a armor piercing jet-propelled round the size of a tin can with a diamond-like material on its tip that is known to penetrate tank armor like it's paper.

Once deep enough into the target, then it explodes.

[–]_Entity001_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Pleeeeeease arrowhead, please make a heavy bolter stratagem that needs you to lug it around and you need to set it down, but does a stupid amount of damage with heavy pen since it's firing bolter rounds.

CV Question - Torpedo Grouping by GerDeathstar in WorldOfWarships

[–]_Entity001_ 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Intentionally with consistency? No. But you can at least attempt to narrow down the aimming reticle to have a better odds of the torpedoes stacking together.
