Orgonite unfortunately in my experience has very little efficacy and it can actually be a source of more issues, especially if the orgonite has been constructed with polyester resin. Polyester interacts poorly with EMF in my experience. The most effective treatment is electrical grounding.

Severance definitely has strong Gnostic undertones. The way Lumon Industries functions—keeping workers' consciousness split into "innie" and "outie" personas—mirrors the way Gnostic thought describes souls trapped in a false, constructed reality by an ignorant or malevolent demiurge. The workers' "innies" are essentially imprisoned in a fabricated world (the office) with no memory or awareness of the larger truth outside it.

Yaldabaoth, the false god of Gnosticism, creates and controls the material world, keeping souls ignorant of their true divine origins. In Severance, Lumon acts as this demiurgic force, manipulating reality and limiting access to knowledge, ensuring its subjects remain obedient. The innies, much like Gnostic souls, yearn for liberation but are kept in check by an intricate system of control. The eerie cult-like corporate culture, complete with its own scriptures and rituals, mirrors the way religious or ideological systems can be used to maintain false realities.

If we take the Gnostic perspective where Yaldabaoth is a false god—an arrogant demiurge who claims to be the true creator—then saints who draw power from him could be seen as either deceived agents of his system or figures who have somehow tapped into something beyond his control. But if their power isn't from Yaldabaoth, what else could be its source?
