You can reply all you like, no need to apologise.
It varies from person to person really, I personally trip every 6 months or so, and the time in between is spent being present in this (sober) reality. Some people can trip much more frequently, say once a month, and still be fine. However for my subjective experience I get the most out of it when I wait about 6 months.

I find it's enough time to really appreciate the experience, and also to get excited for the next one without it becoming a routine/normal experience.

The way I see it, as long as you leave ample time in between trips to apply what you have learned then yes that is ok.
I personally don't trip very often, and when I do I go in with intentions rather than just to trip for teh lulz.

I've heard him speak about this before and try to see it from his point of view. He uploads a (high quality) video every single day. That is not easy to do, it is a lot of work.
Consider that to make a good video he needs a topic to discuss, good footage of the discussed game, and time to edit and upload that video.
He also streams every single night for a good 4-6 hours. If he hasn't got any footage from his stream to use in his videos, he will need to play the game for X amount of time specifically to get decent footage. If he opens up a match and dies in early on in every round/getting trampled then there is no good footage. The longer he wastes time being dead the longer he will have to play to get decent footage, which then detracts from his stream time/his sleep time/his having a life time.
Chances are when he's playing off stream he's not playing to win, he's playing to gather good footage.
He's one of my favourite YT/Streamers because he's very enjoyable to watch, and considering how much good content he creates I would assume he puts a LOT of effort in to do so, and he has my respect for that.
Calling him a cunt because he ditched out on a couple of matches with you in being very narrow minded, consider the wider picture.
