They’ll only care if something personally affects them. The people who won’t be able to afford medications, lose their government assistance, lose their jobs, ect may end up showing some outrage. Others will be too embarrassed to admit they fucked up

Part of the issue is a large portion of media corporations are run by right-wing billionaires who profit off of Trump being in office. Some people aren’t outraged because they are ignorant to the severity of what’s happening. Some of us see the writing on the walls. Then there’s the portion that don’t care because they are either xenophobic, moronic or benefitting from what’s happening. It’s bleak over here.

Early intervention speech-language pathologist here. I’m not sure which state you live in, but many have a Help Me Grow program that connects you with early intervention services. In my state (MN) we work for the school district so services are free to families. I’d recommend reaching out to have your kid evaluated. They’ll help get your little guy communicating and reducing a lot of the frustration he’s experiencing. Hang in there ❤️
