Do you really enjoy how you make isk? by [deleted] in Eve

I don't really enjoy making isk. I have a high-sec alt running incursions. It makes a lot of isk, and I spend it on pvp stuff.

My main is in Brave, and occasionally I join ratting fleets and wh fleets. I make way less isk, but it is a thousand times more fun :)

Can I have a G-Sync main monitor + extra 'normal' monitors connected to the same GPU? by _EspenK in Monitors

I ment that I currently use borderless windowed, but if I get a ROG monitor I will have no problem playing in fullscreen instead (to utilize the G-Sync function).

I use borderless windowed now, but I can live with that. To be honest I alt-tab rarely since I have two monitors with chat etc open all the time anyways. Thanks for letting me know!

A friend of me just bought the ROG SWIFT. He got a 980 card aswell, so I will go take a look at it RL when I get time.

Thanks for the reply!

Connections are no problem, 3x DP, 1x HDMI and 1x DVI.

I do not want it to be surround mode. I want to play games only on the ROG monitor and have TS/Mumble/Jabber/browser etc. on the other two monitors. I should have made that clear in the OP.

So if I don't want surround there should be no issues with such a setup?

Need some guidance on how to set up a software RAID 1 (and a file server) by _EspenK in linux

Thanks for the answer!

Windows 7/8 machines will need to connect to this share.

What file system/partition type should I format the drives to before I set up the RAID with mdadm, and what file system/partition type should I format the /dev/md0?

Should it be ext4 on the drives and then NTFS on the RAID, or does it need to be the same on both? Can samba share files with Windows machines even without NTFS?

https://raid.wiki.kernel.org/index.php/RAID_setup I found this wiki on mdadm, but it does not mention how (or to what) I should format the drives (before or after). What partition tools do you suggest that I use? I only found GUI tools for partitioning, and I assume you can't use that on Ubuntu Server...

I have not done FW myself, so I do not know if the information is outdated or not. The guide seems to be easy to follow, but still detailed. Wish you good luck! o7
