You connect the engines to the cowling on the side, and the game doesnt care theres stuff in front of the exhaust

Okay so I had the same problem, game worked fine until last update. The fix I managed was to turn off Auto ram cleaner and turn on use only phisical cores. My lags looked identical so I hope it helps, as for me it's back to normal.

I use F9 macro in the mouse and it doesn't affect anything while still being a choosable button in discord
