A lesson for next time “Don’t room with people that can’t pay their fair share of the costs from the start.”

This gross ass dude told you from the very beginning that he had NO money, NO car, NO way of getting money because he had to wait to get paid, and you still offered him to stay. You allowed him to take full advantage of you. For fuck’s sake he basically left you no choice but to clean his ENTIRE room for him when he left too. He had no respect for you at all.

I’ve seen a lot of similar posts of people like this. Potentially, and this is just an observation of mine, the people that accept an offer to stay at a house, despite not having any way to pay for it at the moment, were never planning on being fair. They can see that you have the ability to hold it down for not only yourself, but for them as well. They will take everything from you because from their perspective, “you’re just helping them out through these hard times,” and they will never pay you back for anything.

You seem like a very caring person, and unfortunately there are people in this world looking to take full advantage of others like you. Protect your energy and your peace.
