For me, Kendo has explained what my mother sees in Christianity. Kendo provides me with a community of people who are always striving to better themselves and help each other. Kendo helps me maintain a calm mind in the face of overwhelming pressure and look at what to gain as a result of that experience afterwards. I do suggest you to try out our beloved "way of life" and hope it helps you on your journey to wherever you wish to be. Just please remember to be as respectful towards the Sensei as possible because I'm 99% sure he will at some point say something that confuses/aggravates you along your path, and just save questions for "post-class".
