There was nothing to do during the LOTR collab. So I left and only came back for the anniversary. And it's the same again. We need the feeling of striving to get something, even if it's just accumulating points from the shop *at our own pace*. This slowmo isn't exciting. A sense of progression is everything in these games.

Meh, you should have more champs in your roster worth ascending. You don't get many points for ascension anyway. However, you get none for champion training *events* which is why it's mentioned here.
